Lucian Lavisxount (Alfie) is a northerner so his accent is fake and bloody crap

Why couldn't he play the part as a northern bloke. Would Americans not like it?

I’ve been trying to work out why I found his accent so grating. Now I know.

Alfie is northern but was a regular on Grange Hill so no stranger to the London area accent.

She couldn't. I think it's by the same people at Sex and the City. In the 90s we were all scratching our heads at how a writer who published one column a week could afford couture as well!

Ive liked seeing more sides to Sylvie this season but wtf with the work outfit entirely attached by tit tape!!
I think cami must be pregnant because she sure as hell didn’t look like she wanted to be with Gabriel. I suspect she’ll “lose” it.

I love watching Camille's dad he just makes me laugh out loud 😂

Social media yesterday was full of the news that Alfie dated Kerry Katona back in 2011. I hadn't seen him prior to Emily in Paris and thought he was quite young (not an adult in 2011) so that was a double surprise.

Not an adult?!

To be fair he was 19 and she was 30. So he was rather young.

Oh yes but he was an adult!

Absolutely love this show. The ridiculous clothes, people and plot. Watched all over two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s pure escapism. I really don’t see why people try and relate it to real life in Paris it’s complete fantasy and that’s why it’s so great. Was definitely team Alfie this season, Gabriel is pretty awful.

Love the fact Eurovision got a mention. Looking forward to season 4.

We have just watched all three series over the holidays.
I have no idea why. It is the antithesis of our usual viewing. I'm nodding along to all the criticism, and yet, there must be something compelling about it or we wouldn't have stuck with it. If they bring out the next series soon we'll probably watch that too.

I agree Gabriel seems boring and bored, and Alfie is so wooden. As others have said Emily's clothes are horrible this season, same with Mindy.

I didn't expect the end, so looking forward to the S4 now.

It's utter rubbish and yet I watched it all.

For those who like Luc, he is in season 2 of The White Lotus.

I watched that yesterday, however he is much better in Emily in Paris.

I love it (even Mindy’s singing!) and can absolutely suspend reality and go with the flow, but a few little things annoyed me:

Why would the marketing agency have all the execs in every client meeting? clearly not enough work. Julian was absolutely right to tell Emily to STFU.

Camille would just have a quiet abortion, even if she did want to be with Gabriel she is no way at the baby stage yet.

You can’t get married in France with just a religious ceremony, you need to do a civil one. So that wedding was never going to be binding anyway. Camille did not need to stop it dramatically with a public announcement.

I like the fact these kind of details don't make sense it makes it funnier for me. Also love Mindy, they really had fun with her wardrobe this season that PVC outfit with beret fascinator she wore on her date was hilarious. Ashley Park who plays her had a successful broadway career beforehand and def brings a theoretical flare to the show, she's got a great voice too.

It was in the plot, Sylvie did a visa application for her and there was some reason why being American she brought something to the job that was needed, but which a French person could not do.

I love this series - pure escapism! But what I wonder every episode is how do Emily and Mindy share the apartment? It's tiny and where does Mindy sleep? And where do they store all their clothes??

cheesy yet I watched all 3 seasons.
American stereotypical characters throughout.

Gabriel during the 3rd season looks like a young Hugh Grant ( side profile ).

I watch it while doing exercise or ironing etc, as it's mindless fluff that's lovely to look at ( except Emily and flatmate's outfits - wtf? They either look like clowns or streetwalkers.). Like Luc and Sylvie, and the idealised view of Parisian life.

What I don't get is if Mindy comes from such a rich family, why doesn't she find somewhere of her own to rent instead of sleeping on Emily's sofa? Was it because her dad cut her off, so she doesn't have access to his money anymore?

I love how Emily is mixing with high society and literally every man (regardless of age, nationality or marital status) seems to become putty in her hands!

But the best is all the stunning shots of Paris which I will never tire of ❤️

Am a bit behind as still on Series 2. But I do love Alfie and his typical London accent. Much prefer him to Gabriel. Just wish they wouldn't all get so intwined constantly.

Emily and Antoine and Sylvie.
Emily and Laurent and Sylvie.
Emily and Alfie and Gabriel.

Etc etc. Too many triangles, even if not romantically linked! Paris is really a small world when you are Emily! Everyone knows everyone else it seems.

Alfie is so embarrassing!

I found Mindy more annoying this season. She didn’t lose much sleep over her first boyfriend did she? And her outfits were horrendous. That and Camille’s little affair felt like the producer’s wet dream.
