Can't see a thread. What is this shite?

If the traitors get to pick another one it needs to be Andrea, she would murder them all and not even flinch 😁 loved her swearing/bad language last night

happinessischocolate · 08/12/2022 11:18

When Maddy accuses Wilf (and Arran) they should reply, "if I was a traitor don't you think I'd have murdered you by now" and then she needs to go that night 😂

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 08/12/2022 11:44

I don't think Tom even went because they truly thought he was a traitor, it was purely to get rid of him for being a nightmare.

CrossPurposes · 08/12/2022 12:02

For once the logic of voting for Tom made sense from the point of view of the faithful. He put so much effort in getting rid of Ivan it seems a very traitorous thing to do. We know why he worked so hard but they don't.

They couldn’t before because it would’ve been too obvious (which is what she’d say in response). On the other hand, now would be the perfect time because she started on Meryl…

Regarding Theo, they didn’t make much of it, but he does seem to be getting more and more distressed. Perhaps one of the new (not currently paranoid) guys can help pull him out of it. Or maybe the traitors should put him out of his misery!

Exactly. If I was Alex I'd be running a mile by now, he's made himself look a right arse.

I have to say, I think in true reality tv tradition, it would be funny if Alex ended up getting together with Matt with Tom now gone.

I loved when Amanda was so pissed off at his idea to not reveal who won the shield "he has to go" Grin

That could work. If the traitors eliminate Maddie the obvious next step is for the faithful to say Wilf must be the traitor. Wilf then says, "don't be ridiculous, if I was the traitor she'd be the last person I'd off, because I know I'd be the obvious suspect. Clearly someone has killed Maddie to falsely point the finger at me!!!" (And then cries)

FeedMeSantiago · 08/12/2022 12:41

Not revealing who won the shield was a stroke of genius from Tom. A shame he was in the same team as Alex otherwise he could have dropped the shield as he left.

I'm surprised the traitors weren't planning to murder Maddy. They couldn't before as she kept accusing Wilf but last night was the prefect moment - she was one of a small pool of faithfuls who definitely didn't have a shield and she had just had a spat with Meryl. They couldn't risk murdering Meryl to make Maddy look bad as Meryl may have had a shield so they've missed an opportunity.

Andrea is a threat but doesn't need eliminating right now. I think the only people who haven't been suspected at all are Andrea, Matt, Amanda and Meryl. Maddy and Theo haven't been seriously suspected yet and Rayan hasn't had much suspicion, just Alex's vote yesterday. Alyssa seems to have deflected suspicion of her (with help from Amanda) and was very lucky Alex chose Rayan to vote for.

Everyone's memories seem to be short - only Maddy is reiterating Aaron as a suspect and everyone seems to have forgotten how much they suspected Fay before.

Firstinlastout · 08/12/2022 13:22

I only started watching yesterday and kept missing bits, also couldn't hear it properly.Could someone explain what the difference between murder and banishment is and also what was the shield for?,I assumed that Tom couldn't be voted off because he had it.

JaneJeffer · 08/12/2022 13:37

@Firstinlastout
Banishment is voted for by everyone
Murder is decided by the traitors alone
The shield protected from death but not banishment

What was Maddy's spat with Meryl about? Did Meryl tell her to stop barking on about Wilf being a traitor?

Adultchildofelderlyparents · 08/12/2022 14:47

@ButtonSister In the round table conversation, Meryl said she thought either Tom or Alex was a traitor, and voted for Tom to leave. When Tom left and announced he was faithful, Meryl said "I knew it", because she thought it was one of them so now thought she "knew" Alex was a traitor. But Maddy said "if you knew it why did you vote for Tom". Then they had a little "no one knows, you said, I said, etc". A silly spat from high emotions.
But it made me think that murdering either Maddy or Meryl now would point the finger at the other of them.

BagpussBagpussOldFatFurryCatpuss · 08/12/2022 14:48

Are Tom and Alex acting for the programme? Not normal contestants I mean... They are both very keen on big announcements.... It's all a bit weird.

BagpussBagpussOldFatFurryCatpuss · 08/12/2022 14:49

OHHH>>I'm an episode behind!!

BagpussBagpussOldFatFurryCatpuss · 08/12/2022 15:20

Mmm... I've just caught up. I still think Alex is part of the programme - a cast member rather than contestant. Tom too.

They're both "performers" magician and presenter etc so probably used to holding court, being the focus, offering their thoughts and opinions etc.

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 08/12/2022 17:04

I love how they tend to vote based on who has irritated them, rather than logically. I love it.

Amanda is great, I loved her spiel at the beginning about how disappointed she was in Alex and Tom lying and being deceitful.

When they voted, didn't Thom tip his hand that Alyssa was his pet Traitor? (Not sure why they'd show any faith in that though).

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 08/12/2022 17:05

(Also, I think Will could be short for Wilfred rather than people getting his name wrong).

So glad Thom has gone.

ButtonSister · 08/12/2022 17:30

Thank you @Adultchildofelderlyparents

KatKoot · 08/12/2022 18:07

Did anyone else notice that Wilf put his foot in it last night?!
He said help us find ‘the other traitors’ implicating himself but none of the other contestants seemed to pick up on it.

User478 · 08/12/2022 18:14

I am almost certain Maddie is a character and we're all being played.

I also don't think "I'm a professional magician" is the Flex he thinks it is...

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 08/12/2022 19:51

I spotted the "other traitors" slip too, and no one seemed to bite

KatKoot · 08/12/2022 20:30

Yes! I’m surprised that Maddy didn’t notice that! She seems to rightly or wrongly pick up on other things.
