Can't see a thread. What is this shite?

OP posts:

I would love for Ivan to be banished tonight just so we can see Tom ‘I’m in the top 10 of magic content creators in the world’s’ face when he is shown to be not that very brilliant at reading other people. God I love it when hubris comes back to bite people in the arse.
Then the traitors can kill Alex and the pair of them can bugger off home together.
I’m happy for them to keep in shit stirrers like John. God the emotional level of last night’s episode was ramped up to 11, brilliant hilarious TV.

Samcro · 07/12/2022 07:56

Tom has turned out to be horrid. as he is so wrong about everything he is going to look stupid.
feel so sorry for skater boy.

FeedMeSantiago · 07/12/2022 07:56

They all lost the plot yesterday! I bet Alex is furious with Tom. I loved Ivan's comment about how Tom would look silly when Ivan is revealed to be a faithful.

If Ivan goes I think Alyssa will push to murder John. Alex is already under suspicion so if she stays she's likely to be banished. Tom is more likely to accuse Alyssa publicly if he thinks Alyssa murdered Alex. Also, John deserves to go for being so nasty about Aaron's panic attack.

Wilf is a liability to the traitors if he can't turn things around or Aaron doesn't get banished soon and proved to be faithful.

No-one seems to be accusing John, Meryl, Maddy, Andrea or Rayan. Plus Amanda, who is playing it wonderfully.

I wonder what they do all day? We see them arrive for breakfast, we see them do some sort of challenge, and do that round table elimination, and we see that they leave quite late into the evening. What are they doing the rest of the day? They are all so emotional and highly strung now, I wonder if they spend hours just chatting to each other about who could be a traitor. Boredom plus accusations would really add tension.

Id imagine not much.

But then filming takes ages.

They have to get players to house, which is time.
They have to film a breakfast scene, which will take longer than a normal breakfast just because they have so many people.

Then they probably have to go back to rooms to change as they seem to be wearing something different for activities. Or sit around chatting and getting shots etc.

Then the activities might only last 30 mins, but I'll bet the whole getting them there, getting ready, filming, getting reactions and get home etc would take a good ,3-4+ hours I reckon.

Then lunch and faffing and more free time. Then dinner presumably at some point. And the whole rigmarole of. Leaving and voting. They must have really late nights if we're to believe that the bell rings at midnight?
If that's true, then maybe breakfast etc isn't until much later than normal? And activities filmed in afternoon??

happinessischocolate · 07/12/2022 08:34

John first and then they need to murder Maddy, she's not going to stop going after Wilf, it's so funny that she's targeting him but for completely the wrong reason 😂

QueenOfThorns · 07/12/2022 08:41

It must take ages getting all the footage of the various people sitting in the yellow chair talking to camera (I assume that room is in the castle somewhere?). They must film a lot of that so they have the appropriate snippets to go with the other content they choose for the final edit. Because I imagine that the stuff we get to see of them sitting around sniping and bitching and concocting wild theories is only a tiny proportion of what actually went on!

FloorCushion · 07/12/2022 09:02

I think the psychology behind why they are not accusing Meryl or Andrea is very interesting.

FeedMeSantiago · 07/12/2022 09:15

I wonder who the traitors will seek to recruit when one of them is inevitably banished?

Amanda as well. It's like they can't consider that older people or those with disabilities are capable of being traitorous. Maybe the older ladies remind them of their mums - solid, dependable.

If Meryl, Andrea and Amanda had been the traitors it would have been an interesting game!

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 07/12/2022 09:43

Hannah is a comedian. Really? This made me lol.

Tom comes across as quite arrogant, and you'd have thought he'd have more self-control as a professional magician. You've got that wrong. He's one of the world's leading magic creators.

Thank you to posters who kept the chat going live. I like to read the thread when I catch up with the programme later, and read all of your comments.

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 07/12/2022 09:50

God the emotional level of last night’s episode was ramped up to 11, brilliant hilarious TV. I agree.

I also enjoy how Meryl, Andrea and Amanda slip under the radar. It reminds me of my very own Middle Aged Cloak of Invisibility.

The Tom-Alex-Matt love triangle is great tv too. Poor Matt. He seems so much more of a catch than Tom.

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 07/12/2022 09:52

(Sorry, still catching up). Ivan is like a 4 year old in a man's body. So funny when he put his hand up to play the game.

Samcro · 07/12/2022 10:01

only in his own head

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 07/12/2022 10:06

Yes, I was being sarky.

happinessischocolate · 07/12/2022 10:33

Matts going to win as everyone feels sorry for him, and will never vote for or murder him. Then they'll be a massive reveal that the three of them are a permanent love triangle and it was all a ploy to get Matt to win 😂

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 07/12/2022 12:04

I wonder what they do all day?

I wonder if all the drama and hysteria means they are being asked to do more takes and amp it up.

Except that the first person they banished was Nicky, who has a disability…

I agree with you when it comes to nice older ladies though!

JaneJeffer · 07/12/2022 12:35

Do they actually eat the breakfast or is it just prop food?

If it's just prop food it would explain why the men are all so emotional and angry.

Never seen such a bunch of pussys 😂

John previously "it's just a game we'll all be accused and voted off at some point"
John gets put on trial = massive hissy fit

😂

Yes indeed. None of them seem to have clocked that Andrea used to "Work for the Government" Xmas Grin

QueenOfThorns · 07/12/2022 17:24

I really hope this is true! I love a twist Grin

I’ve realised that Tom may not be as stupid as I thought regarding Alyssa, as he may be trying to establish a hold over her to protect Alex (Tom has clearly never read anything by Agatha Christie). It’s pointless if she gets voted off tonight though, and she’ll probably dump him when he gets home!

00100001 · 07/12/2022 17:34

John really is acting like a traitor, so weird

Romeiswheretheheartis · 07/12/2022 18:13

I feel sorry for Matt, but I really thought his crying last night was fake - the way he was talking normally then suddenly screwed up his face and started dry-eyed 'sobbing'. I wouldn't be surprised if they all turned out to be (bad) actors 🤔

He was a skater boi, she said see you later boi, he wasn't magical enough for her ...

BagpussBagpussOldFatFurryCatpuss · 07/12/2022 18:35

Tom is horrendous. Incredibly stupid. Matt has has a lucky escape - Tom and his awful girlfriend deserve each other. They need to stay... all eyes are on them!
