We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We have now agreed to watch the old BBC series of Spooks and are currently in the middle of series 3. Please join in if this grabs your attention.

Looks like next week's will be a tense one, too.

Just caught a few mins of Eastenders. I don't normally watch it. I saw the actor who played Inspector Chowdrey in the Our Girl Bangladesh tour. He seems to be a bad boy in Eastenders as well as in OG.

I haven't watched Emmerdale for many years. I think my personal heyday was during the 90's and early noughties. Many years ago, whilst staying at a hotel in London with a group of people, we spotted Butch Dingle having breakfast at the table next to us. I'm sure he realised we'd whispered amongst ourselves "there's Butch over there!" but we did that British thing of trying to pretend he wasn't there, so we could leave the poor man in peace to eat his breakfast.

I must admit I think I preferred it more back in the 90's to early 00's it's certainly a mix at the moment

I used to like it when it was Emmerdale Farm. Apart from a few pigs the Dingles own, we don't see any animals these days
