He was constantly looking over at Gemma's mum during the time he had alone with his own parents. It was so bloody rude.

If anyone pulls him up on anything, he says 'I can't be fucked with this'' attitude. I'm amazed he got to the age he is without someone giving him a good bollocking.

I thought it was clear Gemma's mum doesn't like Luca, she chose her words very carefully, and the contrast with Andrew and Tasha's parents welcoming each other to the family was huge.

Also one thought I have is that there is some kind of ban on using the word “possessive” to describe Luca’s behaviour with Gemma. Gemma has used “protective” numerous times which I figured was her trying to make it sound more positive and not to trigger him. But Indiyah used it tonight and perhaps some other islanders in previous episodes too.

Are they all just scared of upsetting him? Or have producers banned the word because they know as soon as it’s said social media will latch onto it and he’ll be fucked?

Yeah, I get that. I mean just the disrespectful way he spoke to her. If he can speak to Summer like that, it's likely he'll also speak to Indiyah like that in an argument. So I suppose I mean, rather than from a defending Summer point of view, just more of a, who the hell does he think he is, thinking he can speak to women in that way, type thing. But they gave him a decent grilling (and called him Deji 😁), so they did good.

I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think people see summer as a victim and the ow is usually hated anyway so I think that’s why her family didn’t jump in to stick up for summer I probably wouldn’t have either, in a way they probably see it as karma, she was the ow then got harshly dumped so karma basically

Gemma's mother didn't give much away, then again she didn't have a problem with her 16 year old DD going out with a 20 year old so I wasn't really expecting her to show her disapproval of Luca.

Well I am in the "anyone but ``Luca" camp & agree with a pp he seems a bit more Michael Owen's daughter rather than Gemma. I think Gemma wants to get through the whole thing without embarrassing herself to get her publicity. But then - that is what they are all about now isn't it - the publicity and the instagram whatever. The £50k doesn't really matter. I have a little fantasy that if G&L win she will chuck the cheque at Luca and say - I don't need it and walk off never to see him again.

Because her comments stuck only to 'I voted for him to be paired with you at the start' and 'see how it goes when you are out'

I could see it in her mannerisms, her lack of very positive words and she looked like she was biting her tongue.

Did anyone notice the faces she made, in full view of Luca and his parents, when they insisted he looked like MO? Very telling!

If you look at her Instagram page and this is in no way a criticism, they seem to have a very liberal attitude - their other daughter in posts where she was 12/13 looks like an 18 year old and dresses like one. (Yes I had a snoop). So I can imagine it’s the same relaxed attitude toward boyfriends and girlfriends.

Thought Gemma’s mums body language and short comments said it all. She was very careful not to be obvious but when Gemma asked if she had done something wrong in the airline challenge, mum said something along the lines of stick with what you believe and stared in agreement with her. And another comment about see how you feel on the outside. It was the knowing looks between them I felt, and lack of gushing. Felt for Lucas parents …they really seemed like they wanted to let it all out but couldn’t and he was mainly clueless.

It doesn’t seem as if any blessing was given, which is another indication. Although I did see on Instagram that the two mums went for dinner together.

They have shown lots of private chats between Dami and Paige in a way that they didn't between any of the other opposite sex love islanders. I've mentioned this before. I think Paige has a huge crush on Dami and I did wonder for a while if they would couple up (which would have been interesting!! some scandal in the villa at least instead of the yawn-fest it has been for the last 2 weeks) but, no. Maybe they will after they both leave. Dami does not want to be with Indiyah, it all seems very forced between them.

I've come to the conclusion that Luca is not very bright. How can he possibly not know how badly he comes across? How can he moan about people voting for him, does he expect the people he voted for to moan right back at him? He's actually thick as two short planks.
