I watched the Aussie ending with extra footage but still confused with a couple of faces

Were Kylie and Jason not really in the scene with Mike, Jane , Paul and Harold?

They greeted Paul but less sure about others. Guy Pearce seems now too valuable to do his own motorbike riding and had a stunt double!

I think Kylie and Jason did film with Ian (Harold), Stefan (Paul) and Annie (Jane), and Guy (Mike) filmed with Ian, Stefan and Annie, but Kylie & Jason and Guy weren’t there at the same time - they’re never in the same shot as each other. Earlier in the episode you saw Mike running up to hug S&C but you never saw the actual hug which was weird and the only explanation is that they weren’t actually there together.

I didn't recognise the woman after Skye either but worked out from the credits it's someone called Sharon Davies but I don't recall her at all.

I had to watch it 3 times to find Skye mangle too as I didn't recognise her at all. I think she looked out of it.

So there’s an interview with Jason Herbison (executive producer) on Digital Spy where he explains the ‘90-minute finale’ in Australia confusion. It wasn’t extra footage - they just showed the last three episodes in a single block instead of the last two. However, because this meant they only had one recap and set of credits, there was a little more airtime in Australia, so they got a couple of scenes that we didn’t.

There is a bts video from filming the last scene on social media. They were all freezing!
