That interview was interesting.

Just caught up on last night. That was an awkward watch, quite emotional actually.
I know Jacques has not been the most mature in there and yes he's rubbed a few people up the wrong way, he comes across as a lads lad, cheeky chappy but this could all be a front.
He clearly has mental health issues and I really hope he has a strong support network on the outside. He will experience a lot of haters on the outside I just hope he doesn't let it get into his head.
Young lads don't always deal with mental health issues too well, 2 of my childhood male friends from school committed suicide in their 20's and these were the cheekiest of them all "the class clown" they were. But they can't always keep that front up unfortunately.
And now Jacques has put himself on national TV he needs to be mentally prepared for dealing with the stress on the outside world. It worries me that the producers had him on the show so long, but also how they have plotted situations to cause tension and drama in the villa. I know it's TV, it's entertainment I get that but things like this can really mess with peoples heads.

I wonder what Paige will do now ...

She's quite cool [dated myself by just saying 'cool' there], am sure she's been on Aftersun before (poss not this year yet).

She does the vocals on a lot of dance/club music that’s around, think she won a Brit too this year actually.

Looks like we’re back to Ekin Su and Davide dramatics..to be fair tho he’s right, the reason she didn’t jump ship in casa was because there wasn’t really anyone suitable! Be interesting to see how Paige does on this date!

Gosh they have to bring in outsiders to entertain the public because the contestants aren’t enough themselves. Bad sign.

I feel this has been a really bad humoured Love Island. Less than 3 weeks to go and none of them are boyfriend/girlfriend...and personally I think that is because none of them are a 'real' couple. Gemma just puts up with Luca because she doesn't fancy anybody else...and the same goes for Davide. That time he said "I don't care" he was telling the truth. Ekin Su knows he's the only chance of winning at this late stage. I feel that's the only reason Dami is still with Indiyah as well.

Andrew and Tasha are too stupid to realise the only time they've not been voted to be dumped by the public was when they weren't partners. So hopefully they'll get back together and then get dumped out at the next recoupling.

Paige will get with Adam but no one will vote for them so they'll go before the end. What's left of the Casa Amour lot will go the same way. Gemma and Luca will probably win because the public always vote for the C list celeb and their partner.

I honestly don't think anyone in there really likes each other, either as partners or friends. If something happened and they were told the show was going to end tomorrow, I think all of them would be relieved.

Andrew sounds like a creep. According to Jazmine ( who was invisible most of the time) she and Andrew had a connection. He even said that he ‘ manifested’ her. By the end of the night he was sucking Coco’s breast. Apparently, they suspect that Andrew did more than suck breasts.
Andrew plays the victim, but he is the sleaziest out of the lot of them

I don’t think he’s Ekin’s type at all. She barely looked at him. He’d be a particularl kind of stupid to pick ES when Paige’s tongue is hanging out and there are single Islanders keen to be coupled up.

It must be dry as hell in that villa this year, limited alcohol, barely any games or challenges, unbombshelly bombshells. Must be like Groundhog Day!

Where are the challenges this year?

People always complain about the challenges saying they are boring and don’t want to watch them so maybe that’s why there is less this year?

Also they’ve not used the hide away for a while after using it loads at the beginning

The evening games with alcohol and night vibe are fine.
The cheesy food boring daytime challenges are only there for filler.

Thank you for the apology, it's appreciated. I'm not horrified, and personally don't think it's offensive for me to point out the difference. You're right, neither is worse, they're just different.

The crucial difference is that you are born with a neurological disorder: you can't get 'better' through counselling; there is no social 'root' cause; nothing has or will affect your behaviour except understanding from yourself, others and society. Many, many MH conditions, as we know, have roots in adverse childhood experiences: my DC's issues don't- there's the difference I do not like being ignored.

I don't mind the challenges but what i hate is them in the diary room or whatever they call it, talking us through it like we haven't just watched the flipping thing. Really grates on me. "And then he grabbed me and we snogged with tomato juice all over us and then we won" I'm shouting at the telly "WE KNOOOOOW WE JUST FUCKING SAW IT"

I think LI should have older contestants like in their 30's+ more mature and more likely for lasting relationships unlike the kids going on just looking for air time and a PLT contract.

I think it would be better to have Casa Amor happen earlier.
