I don't dislike Gemma - I think she's probably out of her depth and trying to act cool & reserved amid older and more experienced girls. She's only just 19 (in May) and has likely been quite sheltered/protected due to both her family background and being in a competing youth team. It's unlikely she has mixed socially or professionally with women in their mid-20s so is unsure of how she should act. I'm hoping she lets that guard down and we see her more naturally.

What did he do to her? I'm working while watching so might have missed it!

He was rude to her when she asked him what he did in the beginning most people on here agreed that he spoke down to her

It happened on the first episode when they first met and she asked him what he did, he was quite patronising to her

I watched the Unseen Bits today and it was so nice seeing everyone else. Ikenna and Indayah actually get on really well, Dami is really funny and sarcastic (pretending to not believe anyone performed a certain sex act) Paige is really nice and funny. At the moment we very little of them as everything seems to revolve around Gemma, Davide and Ekin-Su.

I havent seen unseen bits but Immeant to say, I really like Dami - I liked the way he approached Tash and then Luca on the night of the beer pong

She was also 16 when lockdown started so has missed out on socialising and dating really for the last couple of years

I don’t know why they have brought in her ex, I didn’t think it was the Gemma show until now but now I do! It’s just weird, is it just me or did she not recognise him at first either? On first look it looked like she took a while to realise it was him though I guess that could just be the way it was edited

Gemma's Insta photos from 2018 (so she was 15) are eyebrow raising. She has a baby face and but is in very grown up clothing/poses. I would never let my child share similar content - it's so dangerous.

are you just humouring me?" or something like that. I didn't take it as him being condescending because while I've heard of Strength and Conditioning in terms of exercise, I didn't know you could do a Masters in it! So I can imagine loads of people have no idea what he's talking about when he tells them what he's studying and assumed that's why he asked that.

It'd be a bit weird for him to be patronising about it because it's not like she looks like she's never done any exercise before . Some people just like to be offended

Just watching a few minutes of Unseen before the main show. It's 100% better than the main event. Ikenna is such a himbo but it makes him quite adorable.

Love Island would lose 80% of the viewers If not more if the cast was just 19 to 20 year olds.
They offer nothing. And dialogue is very limited esp for this show.
