Is the show live or partly pre-recorded? Or are there several stages? Just wondering as the German singer had a lot of equipment in his set, and they’re moving from one act to another quickly.

Same stage! A girl who sang for the uk a couple of years ago was interviewed on radio 2 earlier. And basically all staging is shifted during the idents. More complicated bits are done during the ads and done straight after the ads
