Is anyone else watching this again on itv or itv hub? Being hit with loads of early 00s nostalgia. I'd forgotten how good it was

Episodes are all on ITV hub- I'm at the start of season 2. I'd forgotten how irritating Marissa was 🤣

I can't remember what Marissa:S problem was (as it were). Will have to re-watch to find out.

I don't have access to ITV hub so I will have to find another way, or wait until I'm back in the UK unfortunately

I'd forgotten how many punch ups there were, especially in the first lot of episodes.

Honestly every episode has some posh event like cotillion, man of the year award, wedding, prom etc and there is always a punch up

Jim from neighbours was in everything at one point.

My reactions to Jim where quite bewildering to my American friends when I lived there… ‘oh there’s Jim, I wonder where he’s left Bouncer’, ‘Jim’s looking a bit peaky, maybe he needs to see Karl Kennedy’ and so on. They were probably glad when he stopped being so prolific and I fucked off home TBH Grin

Where is Jim now? And Bouncer come to that (although I fear the worst for him after all this time!)

Glad I found this thread, have started rewatching today and getting serious nostalgia! Was more a Ryan fan than a Seth one but completely agree about Sandy!

The Selling Sunset spin off which is set in the OC is starting on Netflix at some point this year, it may be the next best thing to actually watching The OC (all the lovely houses!)

I've rewatched a few episodes this week. Particularly enjoyed the one where Ryan went to see his brother in prison. Kirstin sent a pie! Ryan landed with no visiting order. With Marrissa, also no visiting order. Then went off to sort the stolen car or whatever and then just popped back to prison to let the brother know! Like people can just pop in and out, baring pies, whenever and with whoever they liked.

Still love it though. Loved Seth and it still makes me so happy that the actor is married to Blair from Gossip Girl.

I totally forgot about this show! Agree the first couple of series were the best by far, then the next two were a bit more middling.

Does anyone remember the programme called the valley they were obsessed with? There was a wry little joke made by summer about two of the main characters (on the pretend show) who were dating off screen and ‘oh but what happens to the show of they break up.’

I didn't watch first time round and thought it was inappropriate watching for teens. However, 😳, I'm enjoying watching it now. They have such chemistry. Yogalates, lol.

Loved The OC! Although I never understood why Ryan slept in the pool house when there must have been loads of spare bedrooms in that massive house.
