Our Girl Thread 63 "Our Girl Revisited and then what?"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and galloped through three series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are now revisiting series 2 of Our Girl and are trying to decide what to watch after that.

I've forgotten what happens in this series. That explosion came as quite a shock just now.

Thanks both - I couldn't remember either the actor himself or the part he was playing. I think we called him Dr Dishy all the time - much better than Dr Dull.

It must freak Georgie out when Omar's name is mentioned. Hurst clearly has no idea about her connection with Elvis.

I had honestly forgotten most of that episode. If I'm rewatching Our Girl, I tend to go for S2 episodes 3 and 4.

Oh well, from a TV version of a war zone to the real thing in Ukraine. I have started limiting myself to watching the news just once a day at the moment. It's so upsetting.

As I said at the time , we should have had more of these flashbacks in the later episodes of Series3

Enjoyed reading all you have mentioned and has made me want to watch so will do so tomorrow. I have forgotten most of it. Agree "eejit" there should have been more flashbacks in series 3. Like a lot of other things that should or should not have happened in that series!

Yes eejit you can just see her now, marching up to Priti Patel when she's on a PR visit and telling her how rubbish everything is, while her senior officers try to rein her in. Mind you, maybe that's what's needed right now.
