Does anyone else watch this show?

I love it, but nobody seems to know about it! Sad

MardyOldGoth terminal case of singleness here too and rather OTT crying from me at the end.

I had thought that I hadn't wanted that outcome and the theory earlier in the thread about Kevin ending up on his own seemed realistic. Seems that I don't want too much realism tonight though!

sunshineandshowers40 · 28/04/2022 22:32

Perfect. I didn't think I wanted that outcome but it was believable and lovely. I don't want it to end.

ChuckBerrysBoots · 28/04/2022 22:55

Kevin isn’t good enough for Madison! So probably the most logical outcome to be honest.

EasterIssland · 28/04/2022 22:55

Loves the episode but I always wanted this outcome. Don’t want the season to finish.

does anyone have the premieres video for Miguel ?

EasterIssland · 28/04/2022 22:57

next weeks episode

Juniper68 · 28/04/2022 23:02

I was happy with the ending. I even shed a tear and I'm not a crier.

shivermetimbers77 · 28/04/2022 23:45

My favourite episode of the series so far. Firmly Team Sophie here so very happy with that ending. Can’t see why his kids were clapping at the end though . Like ‘Yay! Dad’s kissing a woman we have never met!” :D

shivermetimbers77 · 28/04/2022 23:46

Also - looking forward to learning more about Miguel next week. His time to shine at last!

dimples76 · 28/04/2022 23:51

I agree - between sobs I was thinking kissing in front of his children was not on

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/04/2022 04:02

Finally seen while winding baby

awww was fab

ans yes once shown on Thur and able to download its fair game to discuss. Not wait till Saturday

hence Ive avoided thread till now to avoid spoilers

I don’t usually cry at this is us. But last week got me and this weeks

im glad team Sophie as it’s come round a full circle. She was his true first love and always regretted fucking it up

and fwiw - someone said about spelling Sophie. My just 5yr can spell Sophie as has a friend called that and she’s written her name alone. Was suprised at 5 so def at 6/7 should be able to

now will Sophie get preg. Didn’t we see another younger child at the cabin with Kevin

and loved the seconds flashbacks of the 3 woman keeping us guessing

plus everyone clapping and cheering - Maddison and beth and their detective skills 😂😂

I don't think she will be pregnant. She said she was 45. I know it's possible but not ideal!

Ferntastical · 29/04/2022 06:18

I love how this was foreshadowed a few episodes back when Randall said to Malik something like: First loves form you and shape you. And if it's meant to be they have a way of coming back around.

Loopytiles · 29/04/2022 07:58

So far the sanitised and sentimental portrayal of dementia has annoyed me the most this series.

Loopytiles · 29/04/2022 08:02

know it’s ‘this is us’ and usually enjoy the sentimentality, but it’s all just been so rose tinted and stereotypical on dementia.

Looking forward to the miguel episode but as we’ve talked about on this thread fear he might die or have to leave.

Yes. I work with older people with dementia and this is. It how they behave. Really.

Gaspingandleaping · 29/04/2022 08:14

not how people with dementia behave

I don’t remember seeing a child younger than Kevin’s twins.

It was actually not the outcome I wanted until it happened and then I changed my mind.

Me too!

RedMake88 · 29/04/2022 11:47

If she’s the same age as Kevin they’re about 42? Although the wedding is in the future isn’t it so 45 sounds right.

RedMake88 · 29/04/2022 11:50

Randall’s little dance moves…🥰

i think she said she was 45 and him 44 or something like that when walking through the vynard

Pl242 · 29/04/2022 12:53

It was very saccharine but I did like it. I did think there would have been logic in Kevin ending up alone but him marrying Sophie at this age is a bit of a hybrid of both Rebecca’s marriages. I doubt Kevin and Sophie would have kids together at this point/their age?

Does anyone know the time lag between Kate and Philip’s engagement party and wedding? Struggling to understand how Sophie went from being married then to divorced/travelling now? Unless there was a significant time gap?

really looking forward to the Miguel episode.

blockybop · 29/04/2022 13:34

It's quite usual to be engaged for about a year I guess.

Pl242 · 29/04/2022 13:37

But it also takes a while to get divorced doesn’t it? Anyway. A minor point!

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/04/2022 13:45

About a year, as she is preg at engagement then has a 9mth or so at wedding
