We haven't seen Rebecca with grown up Jack I don't think. I think she dies before that.

Also where Kevin is rehearsing a wedding speech & he does The Princess Bride & says something like "can't use that, obviously".

The for the same bit he says something like "that's ok that'll get a laugh"

Is it two different weddings?

Yes two different weddings- one was his wedding which didn’t happen, which flashed forward to what we now know is Kate and Phillips’s wedding

I was forgetting his wedding that didn't happen.

And that the Princess Bride ref gave away who he married!

There’s a clip of the flash forawards on you tube, to the end sequence at the cabin, it’s definitely Rebecca- Randall walks in and says it’s me, your son. His wife and 3 grownup kids are there. Kevin is there with two kids the same age - girl and boy so guess it’s the twins, he’s wearing a wedding ring. Nicky is there. Toby is there (Randall calls him and says he should come).

No Kate or her kids or Miguel.

I found an article that said the cabin flash forward where Rebecca is in bed is 2032. And Kate and Philip's wedding is 2026. And the scene where Katoby and their new partners watch Jack perform is 2043.

That puts Kevin's twins and Katoby's DCs at around 14-16 for the cabin flash forward.

Which makes no sense because Kevin and Randall look closer to Katoby's ages in 2043.

I hope there is an explanation and they haven't messed up the timeline with the ages of the DCs.

When Toby arrived though didn’t he say that he’d spoken to Jack and ‘they’ were on their way?

Yy and because it was interspersed with Jack's story as an adult, I assumed Jack was driving. But with the timelines above, Jack will still be a child and Kate or Philip must be driving.
I'm a bit sad that we've had all these glimpses of grown-up Jack and none of Kevin's twins as adults.

I'm so confused, flashing forward/backwards, I can't keep up and have lost interest now in the whole thing.

I just can't buy into the Kate and Philip thing, there's no lead up of their relationship, no showing them getting closer..so what he went from being super frosty to her to asking her out on a date? How did we get here? His sob story was ridiculous and if I didn't know it was the final series I might predict that he turns out to be some kind of manipulative abuser.

because we'd seen the clips of him with her. Toby said Jack said 'they were on their way' so he obviously wasn't alone.

I think the dates of flash forwards are as per the PP’s. Think they just went a bit overboard on the ageing of Kevin and Randall!

Have been away so only just caught up with last 3 episodes and the Katoby one - which I think portrayed a v realistic breakdown of a marriage. Really sad. Didn’t buy the romance with Philip but the fact that Sophie made a fleeting appearance makes me think that Sophie and Kevin will get back together…3rd time lucky…
