It's so addictive but are these women for real ?

Can't stand their squeaky voices but can't just watch with subtitles 🤣

I watched the lot yesterday. So much drama around a bf from bloody years ago.
I was also at Christine’s yoga bendiness after an emcs. I like Christine.
Chrishell reminds me of Charlotte in Sex & the city. When she was saying about Harry Styles, I thought she could be his mum. Saying that, sometimes all the work makes woman look mid 40s imho. So, when they start having work young, it ages. All v attractive women though.
The dancing on the boat was awkward.
When it finished it flipped to an early season, they look so different! They are all so tiny, I haven’t seen women wearing that much body con and heels for years.

I've watched most of the new season but not seen anything about Jason and Chrishelle yet, is that in one of the last episodes or have I completely missed it? (I tend to have it on in the background whilst doing other things do entirely possible!)

Love it so much! Binged this new season and it was glorious

Been rewatching season 1 as I cook and I actually feel a bit sorry for Christine especially after this last series. Mary and Chrishell are coming across a big mean girl. I think I’m in a minority but I don’t really like
Or buy Chrishell in S1 she was talking shit about Mary and Romaine and managed to pin it all on Divina while coming across as the victim and getting all the sympathy.
She just reminds me of those girls / women who talk shit about everyone and just act nice but somehow get away with it mainly by playing the victim and manipulating others

I think Jason and Chrishell's romance was just featured in the preview for season 4. It seems they filmed seasons 3 and 4 back to back.

Nothing was shown in this series about the relationship between Chrishell and Jason. I guess there may have been some admiring glances and her doing very well with properties.

I kind of get their point though that Christine refuses to apologise or acknowledge what she did and just wants to move on. I may need to watch earlier series to see if she was that bad!

From what she said, I get the feeling it was off screen. Chrishell seems to think Christine was spreading rumours about her divorce.
Similar to the Heather/Christine issue, it was off screen. Christine gave an interview comparing Heather and Tarek to Spencer and Heidi from The Hills, and then Tarek called her stupid on a podcast or something.

Ah it’s tricky to form an opinion when all these arguments happen off screen.

I remember Christine not being particularly welcoming to Chrishell. That’s about it.

I remember at the end of the last series Christine was doing that faux building bridges with Chrishell and said something like 'I even sent flowers when your dog died', when in fact it was her father who had died. Could have been a mistake but, eh...doubt it.

Also Chrishell tweeted this, that Christine had been feeding false stories to the tabloids about her. Would she say that unless she was pretty sure? I can certainly imagine Christine having a hotline to every sleb gossip journalist in town, feeding tidbits about all her foes!

Urgh I found that so annoying. Chrishell wasn’t asking her to testify in court, or to weep on her shoulder, just to be vaguely supportive, which is the polite thing to do. If my colleague came to work upset about a divorce I wouldn’t say “well, there’s two sides to every story and before I can be politely sympathetic I demand to know the truth.”

I may be too involved in this. I’ve given it a lot of thought.

I've come to the conclusion that it is all scripted. The only REAL thing to have happened is Heather getting engaged!

All of these programs are totally scripted, and they link to RL events just enough to seem plausible.

They are, basically, nothing but adverts for the products being shown - Chanel obviously has a contract with the show, and I'm sure if I knew the big brands better I'd be able to spot the other deals for product placement. I expect that the ones who get the most hits on Insta etc. get the best clothing brands to wear for filming. Heather's appearance has changed, and she has a lot more high-end clothing/jewelry etc. since she upped her profile by getting with a famous guy.

It's all just media hype on fake storylines to make us watch so that they can "sell" the designer brands. And I LOVE it!

I agree with the amount of Chanel being worn, also Fendi is featuring a lot and Amanza has a lot from the Adidas/Ivy Park range

Chanel has no need to do product placement and nor do they do product placement in this way. None of the women in the show are Chanel 'ambassadors' so are not receiving any freebies. If they were, we would know, not least because they would be featured attending shows and wearing couture pieces. Instead, they are all wearing ready to wear and costume jewellery, all items available in abundance in the many Chanel boutiques in L.A.

The reason Chanel is noticeably more abundant is because the cast are being paid considerably more money this season and can afford to buy it. That's it.

When I said earlier up thread about not liking Chrishelle I am glad others find her not so nice

I do think they are scripted and bits shown out of context - I don't think anyone would be doing that yoga pose like Christine 2 days or whatever post Emergency caesarean

When she was out with baby and her husband I wondered how far behind the help were ?

I find it fun to binge watch whilst doing dreaded ironing - the houses - where do they put stuff ? It's always so so immaculate - I look at the palatial places perched on the rock face and wonder how safe they are ?

Yeah, somehow I can't see Chanel's people thinking 'let's elevate our brand by giving loads of freebies to...the cast of Selling Sunset'

I really enjoyed selling sunset but this was my least favourite season as it was all Christine bashing in every episode. I know they all play a role but it got a bit tedious. I’ll still continue to watch it though so I can be jealous of how fabulous they all are & how amazing the houses look.

I thought it was funny at the party in the final episode, all the women were glammed up in their fancy dresses, and the men turned up in tshirts and jeans!

I’d love to see what the houses look like actually lived in. So many of them I just can’t imagine ever relaxing in, they’re so styled I can’t picture just sitting on the sofa with my feet up.
Chrishell said about the basketball player whose house she was selling that she wanted to sell so he wasn’t in somewhere rented too long. Maybe she meant once his house had sold, but I think the implication was he wasn’t living in the house while it was being shown. For people with that much money maybe that’s normal. The big walk-in wardrobes are always empty when they’re showing people round, so the owners must move out (or into one of their other houses).

I’ve never noticed before how MASSIVE Christine’s hands are. And that guy must be 6 foot 7, he’s towering over Christine and she’s nearly 6 foot.
