Our Girl Thread 62 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and are now on the final series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. In the New Year, we plan to go back and watch series 2 of Our Girl.

Rupert Everett does a good job of looking like a creepy old geezer - it's a really unflattering look.

I think he’s brilliant in this. There’s only one thing seriously wrong with this series and it’s a bug one, but the rest is good.

I do like Treville's outfits. I think the costume designers have gone all out for him but downgraded Constance.

After all he has suffered, Treville deserves a nice suit.

The young cadet is a Yorkshireman but the old guy half the size of Porthos is a Cockney! Some great accents.

I was wondering about the preparation as well ilove. Looks like a bit of bark or something. Must be some kind of narcotic plant perparation and highly addictive.

Constance looks awfully matronly in that garb.

I like Constance's hair - that at least is an improvement.
