They're clearly pushing Laura and Iain as the new celeb power couple. I have a feeling we'll see them presenting things together more and more...

If they become the new power couple I'd be begging for woodentop Tess and her crapstain husband Vernon to get more work...that is really saying something because I cannot bear either of them!

Apparently Shannon was slating the reunion saying it was a waste for time, well it would be if you was on the reunion show longer than the actual show 😂 I wouldn’t have even gone on if I was here

I thought it was very telling that Liberty said that now that she's out of the villa "all my dreams are coming true".
I honestly think she's played and won a very clever game.

Well Iain has a few new shows now doesn’t he so maybe that will be the case! Tyler is 6 ft 6? Is kaz under 5 ft? She doesn’t look that short?

Not sure what their literal height difference is, but it surprised me to see them together when she's not wearing wedges/heels

I don't think it would be too hard, they didn't seem to have much chemistry and seemed to be in more of a platonic relationship imo, but it worked for both of them; jake so he could try and win as part of the first couple, and lib as she probably assumed he would bring another girl back from casa for her Amber moment, as he didn't it was easy enough to find a reasonable out, saved for just before the final for maximum impact. Might seem very suspicious haha but her online persona and how she has been since leaving the villa seems very at odds with her villa persona.

No, that's way more than I meant. I don't think setting up the entire relationship and what followed was part of the plan. But I think the overall goal was to win over the public's hearts in some way. She really didn't seem all that bothered/anxious about meeting Jake. Given that she was declaring her love for him a couple of weeks ago, it just seemed odd to me. I know that we could argue that she would be cagey about what she was saying on camera or she was keeping her cards close close her chest, but thats not how I read it. Also, I'm not saying she's ruthless or cynical or whatever, just something doesn't quite sit right

Was convinced it was pure love too, even though in reality it never was. Let's not forget how young some of these contestants are, even if they don't necessarily look it (am still baffled Faye/Chloe are as young as they are - look way older to me!).

Me too, but I didn't instantly move on if I was dumped. I'd be distraught for a couple of weeks at least 😄

Oh, and I thought they should have got Maya Jama in after Caroline passed away, and would still like to see her presenting it.

I can't stand Maya Jama but even I agree with this. I think maybe someone who is a smug married is not a great choice to present a program like this.

And to have her actual husband on there too makes it even more ridiculous

It's bizarre. I liked Iain when he was on CBBC with Hacker. He was likeable and self deprecating etc. But now, I don't know what's changed but his jokes just fall flat. I felt his commentary on LI was better this year than the past few, to be fair, but just so unfunny. And on the reunion, he didn't seem to know when to stop - a couple of times he pushed a joke beyond too far, despite getting no laughter at the first attempt. It's really uncomfortable, and the smug coupling with Laura is horrible- especially as a PP said, as they have no chemistry whatsoever 🙈

Rib Beckett I can accept but, please not Katherine Ryan. I have to turn off when she pops up (and she has been on everything just recently!).

I'd go for Maura or Rylan or Emily Atack.

After all the drama of Jake dumping her with one of the reasons being that she wants to wear red lipstick, has anyone else noticed that Liberty seems to have dumped the red lipstick?
