Wow that was awful. Really disappointing reunion. They seemed to want to make people cringe but not ask any interesting questions. Poor Liberty! That meet up was assumed, she really wanted him to say he wanted to get back together and he couldn’t have been less interested.

Agree Ian was awful. He used to be so funny back in the day. Also used to be less ‘styled’ which I much preferred.

I only caught the end but after reading the comments here I don't think I'll bother catching up properly!

I see Faye was allowed to laugh her way out of it again with her "Oh Guys, aren't I just so feisty!" attitude again.

The Jake and Lib thing was weird - they said he was sick but they obviously filmed that meet up prior...so really he was never going to be there? They seem to be keen to protect him but doing a shocking job of it - they could have coached him better for the meet up for a start!

LW brings nothing. I couldn't see Iain staying if she was ousted but really that might not be any bad thing either.

I really really hate this "that's why I made her my girlfriend" stuff. I can't explain exactly how but the language is so sexist!

Sharon's "I wonder if your dream girl exists" was the best comment on the show but whitmore killed it. She's just so awkward.

What the hell did I just watch? Even the Amy Schumer bit was painful.
Blessed relief when LW said we'd run out of time.

The reunion was terrible, absolutely awful! Ian was really irritating, and although I think Laura is an okay presenter overall, I just don't think she's suited for LI, and it really showed during the reunion.

I don't blame jake for not going really, lib got the hero edit and he got the villain edit. On the surface it seems like he was an arse, but that's all anyone seems interested in talking to him about, it's a shame as some of his friendships we saw on extra bits were good fun. I know this is controversial, but lib is a marketing student and also seems really different on social media before and after the villa (not on about looks)- I wonder if she actually had the best game plan all along.

I don't think any entertaining questions were asked, where was the fun? The stuff they did like show the clip to millie and have lillie come and speak was even boring as well as savage.

How do we petition for new presenters next year?
Genuinely, LW is ruining this programme. I really like her on other things, but she's not cut out for this at all, it's excruciating

I think there are a few small ones bobbing about, it feels a bit mean but also if she carries on being terrible on LI then it will probably ruin her chances of other presenting gigs, so in her interest too to move on.

God it was awful. And yeh why on earth were they lining girls up on the couch to talk about bloody Hugo Toby and boring Liam. What era are we in at all. Jake missing must have bern hard coming out to all the negativity

Just started USA season 3

That was AWFUL! The most awful TV I've watched in ages. It felt like they had 2p left in the budget for some really shitty 'real-life' filming and that desperate reunion in the studio.

I felt sorry for Laura Whitmore, as I presume someone else wrote the dreadful questions for her and the terrible (non)gags! She looked like a very nervous rabbit in the headlights, knowing full well that she'd be run over but unable to leave.

Chloe and Toby seemed to still be the same goofball couple. All the other finalists seemed stilted and like they were acting a part, rather than relaxing in their coupledom outside of LI. The Tyler / Kaz girlfriend question was so staged, it felt beyond naff. Millie & Liam looked like they were wax work models of themselves and if either of them made a sudden move, they'd break into pieces.

The Faye & Teddy dynamic seems so strange to me. I know that opposites can attract but to want to be with someone who repeatedly behaved so badly seems unhealthy and odd. But apparently it is just "the wrath of Faye", so that's alright then!!!!

And as for Liberty and Jake, well Liberty has clearly been given a script to say that she repeats over and over, bless her and I have no clue what is going on with Jake. Their meet up was so bad. Was that really it? Something very weird going on there too.

So, all in all an hour and 15mins of my life I won't get back and that wasn't well spent - other than to provide me with some MN venting fodder!

I do like LW but I think the problem is she comes across as though she's not a real fan of the show, and consequently doesn't ask the questions we're all dying to ask! Caroline was a genuine superfan of the show, and you could tell she loved everything about it, and wanted to delve deeper into the dramas and the little details. With Laura you get the feeling she's never actually watched an episode, and just gets briefed on who is now with who etc.

The Jake thing was so odd, he could barely make eye contact and was itching to get out of there. What on earth has gone on there I wonder.....

A shame there was no focus on the friendships and other funny moments in the villa rather than just the very staged couples.

Oh, and I thought they should have got Maya Jama in after Caroline passed away, and would still like to see her presenting it.

The reunion sounds cringe but I want to watch it but I can’t fucking find it!! Searching itv hub, all the reunion shows are from previous years?

Agree re LW. You would see CF out with them having the craic. I'd imagine LW would actively avoid them if she bumped into them. I've said before I think she thinks she's above it - and I don't mean that in a bad way. I think she is a much more serious presenter than what they show needs.

Also agree I feel we missed something with Jake.

Well Iain has a few new shows now doesn’t he so maybe that will be the case! Tyler is 6 ft 6? Is kaz under 5 ft? She doesn’t look that short?

See, I disagree. I think she's utterly woeful. There's no connection with the audience or her guests whatsoever. Get bloody Davina McCall on (she'd never do it) or Roman Kemp etc. A presenter with some charisma - Rylan would do a good job.

Laura is terrible and don't get me started on Iain - how are these two married when they can't even muster on-screen chemistry when presenting together? Tragic.
