I'm laughing at the girls (in the bedroom) saying they have them whipped . You wont be getting your frothy coffees handed to you like princesses after those lads are out clubbing till all hours lapping up the attention .

I can't believe the girls really think they've got the boys whipped. Three out of the four went off with someone else and the girls took them back. I think the boys have the upper hand!

Agree with PPs that Faye shouldn't have been allowed to reach the final snd her hairstyle was a bit dated.

Another year done and dusted. Normally when a season ends I feel so lost and want another one to start. This year it was very underwhelming.

I really thought Liam had cost them the win with his Casa Amor antics but they managed to salvage it.

I know lots of you have already said 'Never again!', but a year is a long way away , so cya next year!

I think millie and Liam won largely because of millie, she could have probably been coupled up with anyone and been a very strong contender. To be honest this is always the case, they may as well just have an individual winner next year.

This was the first series of LI that I watched. I don't think I'll do it it again I kept falling asleep during that final, had to rewind to get to the announcements each time. The last bit with the envelopes was very haphazard, whilst I know they probably can't rehearse it and it did seem confusing with them both having two envelopes, did Millie and Liam not know what to do? Isn't that a standard ending?

Anyway, my one takeaway from this series is how much courtship has changed (according to their behaviour). The order seems to be:

      Sex - Exclusive -- GF/BF - I love you

whereas in my day, which admittedly is years ago, I'm sure it was:

      GF/BF - Exclusive - I love you - Sex

During the recaps, millie made a huge mistake saying that she always knew she would take Liam back. She has literally handed him all the power.

Also. LW or the production team were very clearly rooting for Faye and Teddy for some reason. A few people mentioned this during Aftersun last night; then tonight LW gushed about their date with the rose petals (which actually was the worst of all the dates), then sort of mehhhhed her way through the interview with Chloe and Toby. All very weird.

I think they were doing a redemption job on F after the complaints over her disgusting behaviour

I’d rather Chloe and Toby won but happy enough with Milliam. I must be in a minority reading these threads but I’ve enjoyed the series. It can be tiresome picking it apart all the time and the constant negativity about it all has been hard going however for some reason I keep coming back to read so I only have myself to blame!

They had to choose one colour each. Millie chose red so Liam opened black.

Who’s to say that both of Millie’s envelopes didn’t have £50k cards in though? Very bizarre way to do it.

The prize money thing is a shambles. As if a couple that the public vote for to win would decide to not share the prize money. It's a totally pointless exercise which wastes 5 minutes. And although last night's process was different from usual, it didn't make it any more likely to happen.

Liam did such a good gaslighting job on Millie she ended up blaming herself for the post Casa split- calling herself 'Millie Moan'?
And his 'I knew I wanted it and I wasn't going to stop until I got it' was .

Let's not forget how defensive he was after Casa, didn't apologise and kept referring to Millie as hysterical and needing to calm down. He even pondered going after a new girl! The producers did a great job of minimising his actions too (in the film challenge).
He's never going to stay faithful.

I am disappointed Liam won with the personality of a brick.
But it was really slim pickings.
With all the producer meddling I can't understand why they didn't meddle to keep the potentially more interesting characters in, rather than dump them after a day.

I do actually wonder if liberty as a marketing student was playing a game all along, her older posts on social media and since she has come out seem different to her villa persona. Of course it's a different environment etc so could just be that, but she will probably do the best out of everyone despite leaving single- if it was a game it was a good one.

Completely agree! The money they can make afterwards as winners is worth a hell of a lot more than £50k.

The really idiotic thing is that she had actually set up an Instagram account in her daughters name. Also LW started out on MTV reporting on celeb gossip.
As a side note, did anyone hear Iain Stirling on Parenting Hell podcast? He spoke about how they have the umbilical cord framed. Find that very weird!!

Feel that series ended with a bit of a whimper, these threads were what kept me going through it really! I don’t think they’ve done four envelopes before. That was a bit of a muddle!

I do think the producers are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

For previous threads/series we've complained about too many influencers and pre-established personalities and this season, when they have had more ordinary people, we've complained it's too dull.

I hope Milligan know they only won because of how sweet Liam’s parents were. I want a Liam’s family spin off show.
