Our Girl Thread 61 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and have almost finished the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We will start on series 2 very soon.

I'll bet Rochefort wanted him shut up quickly.

What a nasty little weasel the King is. All sympathy has evaporated. Someone needs to get out the flash and give that floor a quick once over.

The Musketeers go to see the widow of Pepin. What a noble thing to do to go and explain his death to her. D'Art does all the talking and even tries to explain it to her son.

Well plenty of action in that episode and loads of Rochefort's scheming so lots of intrigue from now on I am sure. Some nice gestures from the Fab Four too.

Yep, good episode - nice to see Kingy roughed up a bit, even if they didn't manage to send him off on a Spanish Galleon permanently.

BTW - I am ashamed to say that I saw a photo in the paper of British squaddies in Afghanistan, and my first thought was, the one in the middle looks like Kingy. For the avoidance of doubt, not the Musketeers Kingy, the OG Kingy.

Evening. Yes, it was a nice day today. I don't think it was so hot down south. Certainly very nice, but I was working, so couldn't fully appreciate it.

The news is certainly very close to the fiction at present. Awful for those involved. On a slightly different subject, I was watching another of Tony Grounds works last night - "When I'm 64" on BBC4. Her certainly likes quirky characters - explains a lot about the lads in Two Section.

It is raining again. Meanwhile, back in rochefort's black and gold boudoir, he is engaged in a bit of role play with a lady of dubious morals.

It was hot here yesterday and has been pleasant today but not much sunshine. However, the grapes at Ilove Towers are ripening nicely.

Rochefort clearly has a a bit of a screw loose and fancies Queenie.

Rochefort has some serious mental health issues.
