Our Girl Thread 61 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and have almost finished the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We will start on series 2 very soon.

Queenie is pretty cross with the Captain since he turned down the job he was offered.

Has anyone else noticed that, with the exception of the Mother Superior, the regional accents belong to baddies.

It's a bit like Hollywood baddies eejit - they're always English now.

At least the Blacksmith's got a Scottish accent like his brother. They at least matched those two up.

Rochefort scrubbed up well after looking like a scruffy Peter Noone last week.

The joke, of course, is that D’Art should have an impenetrable accent, being from Gascony.

Yes, they should have given him a distinct accent of some kind to reflect that.

Remember how they used that English Gendarme in Allo, Allo speaking English weirdly to reflect someone speaking French badly. That would be hilarious.

Meanwhile the slaves are being badly treated and Milady is involved as usual.

Now Milady knows who he is. Will she tell the bloke or use this to her own adavantage?

Milady recognises Kingy, or rather she first recognised his jewellery.

Of course, Milady is banned from Paris on pain of death. Maybe there is a way back?
