Our Girl Thread 61 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and have almost finished the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We will start on series 2 very soon.

Rhu, I've given my suggestions on what to watch next etc. I do feel I perhaps need an OG fix again.

ilove I could certainly cope with series 2 of OG - a bit of everything except an appearance from Molly - but a nice mention. I always think it has the best overall plot. Don't mind after that.

I could certainly handle a fix of Elvis, Spanner, CJ and Fingers after series 3. Not Dr Manboobs, though, but into every life some rain must fall.

OG series 2 seems a good idea. Certainly the best one to choose I think - no Molly after series 1 but at least we hear some news of her that seems to keep CJ happy. Reasonable story line and Georgie hadn't got to that extremely annoying stage as in later series. So gets my vote. Wouldn't fancy seeing much of the series that follows that but maybe series 4.

Plus we get to see a tearful LP - always a heart-melting moment.

My three favourite scenes in the whole of that series are "the boys are back in town" in episode 2, Georgie and Elvis in his room after he was injured in episode 3 and Elvis and the boys in Manchester working with counter-terrorism. Just love them all.

I can almost taste the anticipation in you "Elvis" ladies already and we still have a whole series of The Musketeers to get through. Roll on the new year

Hello all... I just dropped in after finding you are still here! Wow! Bloody good job... How are you all and what has everyone been up to?

I have just watched Our Girl series one again with my son. He was four when it first came out. Now he's 12. He loved it, is busy playing all the songs and has told me he wants a Brit army uniform and a headset (he doesn't understand why I find that so amusing).
