Our Girl Thread 61 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and have almost finished the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We will start on series 2 very soon.

She looks like Dandini from a production of Cinderella.

So, this must be something to do with the plague and who lived and died. Sounds like they lost family and blame him.

Initially, when Rochefort told the Red Guard to secure the place, I thought it was one of his ploys.

Meanwhile, the King is sweating it out like a really bad exam with questions too difficult for him.

It's a very sad story, but he's still unhinged.

So now we find out why these men have such a grudge against the King. A plague in their village. It was a 17th century lockdown situation by the sounds of it as directed by the KIng. Topical I guess given the coronavirus.

Practically all of the villagers died of hunger. The brothers now want revenge.

Rochefort needs longer arms.

Well, that’s one way of dealing with bureaucracy but, as a bureaucrat, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is the only episode when Rochefort is remotely likeable.
