I can't understand making clothes from that scuba fabric, it's horrible.

Isnt it weird how big boobed and teeny tiny waisted they were then.. how evolution has changed the female form through the decades!

Farie's doesn't evoke the New Look to me. Rebecca's is a bit dowdy. Serena's is nice but dull - again.

The real controversy about the 'New Look' was that the skirts used yards and yards of fabric at a time when it was still strictly rationed post-war and hence not attainable by most women. But most of the contestants are interpreting the brief pretty loosely by the looks of it.

Rebecca's fabrics are really not my thing....
