The guy who Dot caddied for who was high up in the OCG. Hunter was being moved from prison to WP in the operation Denton was leading when the convoy was ambushed and Hunter was killed. Presumably for being a rat.

Literally just watched the episode where Tommy Hunter dies. We do see his heart stop and they do talk about him being dead. But of course he's so burnt he is unrecognisable so it's within the realms of possibility that he's not dead.
