I’d agree with you op, I think she could have dialled it back a bit as well, but she went right in laying it on thick. But she knows that keeping manrika on side is keeping her in.

The daily drop has shown a different blocking - there is one super influencer who can anonymously block anyone. This could be lethal to Andy / Syed / Felix I suspect!

If the super influencer is one of the OGs, which it 99.9% will be, surely if they go back on their Gang of Four pact and block one of the remaining three OGs (rather than Alice or Tom) then they’ve shot themselves in the foot with whichever two OGs stay. So I think that’ll be two risky, and they’ll just take out a newbie.

I hope they’ll take out a newbie. But the other will never know. The identity of the super influencer will not be revealed, apparently - so if Manrika took out Andy, she could then say to the other OGs that it was Alice / Tom...

Not if it’s anonymous...there’s no risk, you just show outrage and deny it was you.

You’d have to be out yout tree not to block the biggest competition if you get this position,

I reckon

Syed would block felix.
Andy would block manrika
Manrika would block Andy,
Felix would block Andy, but possibly manrika.

Father Tom would block manrika
Alice would block felix.

Unless manrika is the influencer I reckon she’s at most risk.

If the super influencer is one of the OG which is the most likely scenario, i think it makes 100% sense for them to block another OG. Much better to get rid of a strong rival and have two weak players instead (newbies) to beat in the final.
Manrika would block Andy, Syed Felix, Felix if she's clever should block Syed and Andy Manrika but he's an idiot so would probably block Felix.

Ideally the super influencer is Tom and blocks Manrika, but that's not going to happen.

Felix and maybe others are focusing on the wrong newbie, but I'm fine with that - if at least one of the newbies has to make it to the final I'd rather it be Tom, to add to the drama.

If Manrika survives today's blocking, which I'm sure she will, she's as good as won the series.

In previous series, haven't they turned the ratings on their heads? Ie the bottom two are influencers? It wouldn't surprise me if they did that tonight to mess up the OG pact.

@AnnoyedByAlfieBear Wow that would be a twist. That would most likely make Alice the influencer which is bad for Felix. I think Felix is the most likely OG to go tonight whichever way you slice it.

I wonder if Felix goes who he would go to see, earlier in the week I reckoned Dot, but now she's gone I wonder if he would brave seeing Manrika....

follow yes there was no feel at all that anyone knew the answer ! I am not 85 but remember watching the sinking of The Belgrano as older teen on our old wind up horse drawn moving picture box. I could only come up with after 81 and before 85 ish.

Looking at the players, Syed and Andy are the only two who haven't shown any nastiness (or I haven't seen it!). Felix is snaky drawing Manrika in but there been no malice shown. However, Manrika has shown bitchiness and been two-faced on many occasions.

On that basis I put, Syed as 1st - played a good game in a good way, been nice to everyone
Andy in 2nd - he's been quite true to himself, albeit a bit ordinary
Felix in 3rd - played a good game but didn't need to go as far in the romance stakes
Manrika 4th - played the game quite well but has been very sly, quite nasty at times and manipulated people with lies

I’d agree your top two but I’d put manrika in third and felix in fourth, I think what Natalya is doing to manrika is actually worse. It’s so targetted and persistent.

The anonymous blocker is such a good twist, because of course it's anonymous only to the other players for a short time, so you'd know that everyone watching will know what you've done - as will all the players the following day.

The sensible (?) thing to do is to block your biggest competition the day before the final of course, but do you do that knowing you'll ultimately be judged as ruthless for blocking someone you've declared loyalty to, or block the newbies and see whether you can still win?

If I was Natalya I wouldn't go see Manrika - in fact I would avoid her at all costs for the rest of my life!!!! I'd be afraid she rip my head right off, part of me understands why but it is all part of the game.
