HeronLanyon I liked series 1 of circle USA. Going to try and leave series 2 a couple of weeks and have a proper catch up

ontheboardwalk i thought I’d watch one then suddenly I had seen all 4 - day off work supposed to be doing domestic stuff .

Really enjoying it after what I thought wasn’t a great U.K. series (until the last couple of episodes).

@HeronLanyon are the contestants nice? I really want to watch a season with nice people. The UK one gave me a headache.

I’m looking forward to the US one but I think the way it’s being released is 4 episodes a week over 4 weeks. I will absolutely binge all 4 episodes at once and it was hard enough waiting 24 hours to find out what was happening with the UK one, don’t think I could cope with waiting a week! I’m going to try and wait until a couple of days before the last 4 are due to be released and watch the US one then so I can watch the series without long gaps.

Yes there are some really nice contestants, more diversity of type, some great rivalry and some interesting new twists. Less shouting that’s fir sure. Feels as though there’s more chat and some longer chat. Just felt calmer - but still some great politics going on.

Well there is shouting as they enter apartments as always and there is some shouting but overall better on that level.
billyismybunny - it was odd to see blocking’s followed by visits etc without having to wait. They have of course ended Episode 4 with a cliffhanger and now a weeks wait. Think your idea of a glutfest (rather than my paltry sporadic binges) might be a good one.
Seem to remember U.K. series 1 was weekly ?

I just came on here to see if anyone had started the US series 2 version. High five @HeronLanyon! I’m just about to start.

Why don’t they make us wait with this annoying release shit though.

Thank sounds like a great watch @HeronLanyon. Just need to finish binging How To Get Away with Murder first - lots of shouting in that, and it gives me a headache, but feel like now I've started watching it I have to make it to the end!!

Maybe they thought she’d appeal to US audiences having already apparently been on one realty show - some of them seem to recognise her.
Plus I assume her travel expenses were cheaper, ha ha!!

I started USA S2 last night - they seem a pleasant bunch, and at least two or three are possibly as clever as Natalya, so it could develop nicely. (I too already have more subscriptions than is in any way reasonable ...)

Does anyone know where to buy the massive shiny wine glasses they have on this show?

If you search ‘gold wine glasses’ lots of similar will come up ‘Von shed’ a recurring name via Amazon. BUT haven’t see any quite that shape.

Tbh they make me feel queasy - looks like brass to be and the thought of drinking wine from brass makes my teeth go all funny. I really wish they’d stop using them!

Anyone watching The Circle US, second series? I have watched all the first series on Netflix, but so far there are only 4 of the 2nd series uploaded so far. It is proving explosive .

I am yes. I think they’ve cast it well, and we’re already seeing much more of their interactions than the last UK Series.

Eurgh ... Halfway through USA 2 ep 3; I'm trying - but it's so dull. Not one of them is desperate enough for the prize to make themselves ridiculous or unpleasant. They're all too well balanced - well, apart from the constantly weeping writer.
