Femi and Pippa haven't been there long.

All of the players enter isolation at the save time before going into the real circle so although they weren’t in the fake yet they were still in isolation in off-camera flats for the entirety of the game and for as long as the other players.

Why do they all get so upset at the messages from home - people go on holiday for longer than they have been locked away filming! Do they all break down like blubbering idiots on the plane home at the thought of seeing family after spending 2/3 weeks on their hols!

I can’t remember how much time there is between the final ratings and the showdown. I’m wondering whether Felix will fess up to Manrika after the voting but before the meet up... so it’s not as much of a shock.

I know what you mean! Although I guess nowadays when you’re in holiday you still have access to your phone/ social media etc and usually still have social contact with other people, you’re not in isolation. A lot of the contestants are probably of the age where they’ve never had to experience going somewhere and not being able to get into wifi and be in contact with home.

Just had this discussion with my husband.

Me: not being horrible but I wouldn’t cry if you sent me a message because it’s been weeks and I’ll be on my way home soon. I’d be like, oh ok, so what.

Him: if you sent me a message I’d expect you to pretend there’d been an apocalyptic event and I must not leave for my own safety.

Emotional reactions to messages from home seem to be a bit of a theme with reality tv. See Love Island etc
