I also think Andy has too much integrity to block one of the orginals, I'm hoping he's gone for Alice.

I could see syed and manrika becoming really good friends in real,life, if not romantically linked, they clearly really like each other and syed has a proper crush on her.

Eugghh, I hated Paddy winning last year.
Would be so annoying if, because of tactical voting, whichever newbie stays in, they end up winning. 🤬

Another one who was disappointed with Paddy winning. So many amazing characters last year and he was a nasty pasty at times and undeserving.

Andy will have blocked Alice I'm sure.

I actually just had a mini row with a friend about the circle as they said they bowed down to manrika's game playing.

Love syed/hashu - I think you can play the game like him and I'd bow down.

Andy should come second as a genuine good guy, if a bit annoying.

I prefer Natalya to Manrika, but I guess you could say they are even (although I'm convinced that manrika is playing Felix as much as natalya is).

The best bit about Fr Tom is that I'm not convinced Pippa and Joey would get on in real life

I wonder if Hashu has changed his opinion of Manrika since watching the show though. I think within the circle she put herself across really well to the other players and they all really like her. But as we know, she has not come across so well to viewers. She’s always been lovely to him though.

Haha - I just read the synopsis for tomorrow’s final (checking the time!) and it was described as a ‘tense dinner’ - I can only imagine!!

The interesting thing is that Hashu/Syed and Scott/Dorothy were lovely as themselves and as their catfish characters...Femi/Joey and Pippa became nasty quite quickly and seem delighted about it.

I really hope a newbie doesn’t win. I’m another one who was disappointed that Paddy won last year. I would love Felix to win but don’t think it will happen.

Really think the guy playing Alice is a nasty piece of work. Imagine seeing one of your kids' teachers behaving like that? No way is he on a permanent contract and getting time off in September. He must be supply. Or rather have been, as I can't see many schools wanting to use him now. And why does he say "high school"? Don't we say "secondary" in England?

Paddy was awful, a mix of nasty and "poor me", it was a real disappointment when he won. Manrika is manipulative but she's also a fighter, he was just a weasel.

I don't think Tom is as good of a player as much as people want to believe a priest is genuine. Tom is also lucky other players aren't practicing Christians or they'd have sussed him out for the charicature he is.

There are high schools in the U.K. like a middle school. Alice is def going. I've said in other posts he's a disgrace of a teacher. Think if he'd been in from the start his career would well and truly be over. Hard to call who is going to win but probably manrika unfortunately.

I stopped watching for a few nights after the Manrika Gemma nonsense but watched last night and tonight and it has got better again. I think introducing new people at the end spoils it. Alice and Femi are similar. Both take against players for no obvious reason and don't try and charm players and the viewing public but get over involved in petty feuds. Father Tom is overdoing the priest talk. Most clergy I know try to put across the ordinary bloke vibe and dont continuously talk about god. Father Tom is more entertaining than they were as individuals. Pippa is lightening Femmi up a bit so he's not feeling slighted and disrespected all the time but playing the game more. Manrika is behaving more normally

Yes I thought it was genuine in both sides too. And Manrika giving a big hint to syed that she doesn’t care if he’s a catfish.

Syed is such a sweetheart and a joy to watch.

Just watched a group live chat with Shabaz (Alice), Pippa and Joey. Interesting that Pippa said that the reaction we saw to them seeing Father Tom’s profile was fake, she said they reacted really badly when they saw the Priest profile saying it was unfair and they wouldn’t be able to do it and the producers had to convince them and when they agreed to do it they then re-recorded revealing the profile, reacting how the producers wanted, as if doing it for the first time. So it makes me wonder what other scenes might not be actual first reactions but could be set up by the producers.

Shabaz also said that there were a lot of interactions between Alice and other players that weren’t shown when he first when into the game. He said there was an unseen circle chat where Alice spoke directly to Felix several times and Felix totally ignored it each time. Shabaz said his plan was to go in and be genuine and kind and soft-spoken as Alice but that after the first few chats where he was getting completely ignored by the new players and on realising Alice wasn’t about to be welcomed in he just decided in that case he might as well stir stuff up and stop being nice as they obviously had no intention of welcoming him. They all also said there were loads of chats that weren’t shown and that obviously the producers have picked the ones with game-playing etc but it wasn’t all like that.

Think I’m actually enjoying the behind the scenes Q&As the players are giving as much as the live shows. Am gonna feel totally bereft tomorrow when it’s over!

Yes it was an Instagram live story with the 3 of them - not sure if there is a way to watch them after they’re over though? I admit I hardly used Instagram before I started following all the circle contestants this week! They answered loads of stuff about the circle, obviously no spoilers about tomorrow but lots of stuff about the workings of the show and what it was like to be in there. It’s really insightful and actually I really warmed to Pippa and Joey, it made me realise how little of the player’s personalities we’re really getting to see on the show.

And nope, they didn’t hint at all about who got blocked or won or give away anything about what happens tomorrow. They said they’ll do another Q&A tomorrow after the final has aired when they’ll be able to talk about things like the other players in more depth because they couldn’t really go into anything like that yet. I believe from something Manrika said in one of her live chats (yes, I am obsessed!) they’re only allowed to talk about their relationships with other players who have left the show but not with those still in it.
