The games are far better than the twist.

I feel for Billy at the moment, he's losing himself and not connecting with anyone, even though he's a lovely guy and himself.

Definitely feel sorry for Billy now. Really gone off James, feels horrible to be just outright lying to try and turn people against someone else and it’s not something I remember seeing in any of the past series’.

There are fairer ways to go about planting the seed of doubt into peoples minds without making up a completely false story to turn people against another player. I really hope it somehow backfires and either Syed or Andy chat to Billy and realise ‘Gemma’ has made the whole thing up.

I seriously cannot stand Manrika or Scott-Dot. Gemma has rather backfired- although I kind of appreciate the acknowledgement of the competitive misery fest- I'd have picked her for that. I think she has made a huuuuge mistake picking on Billy now. I like Billy. She'd have done better trying to take out Dot!

He couldn't pick dot or Felix. James/Gemma said he would have picked dot as people are already suspicious of them being a catfish.

Ah I forgot that- otherwise Dot would have been perfect! Poor Billy!

I can’t see Billy going over Gemma. All Andy has to do is ask Billy who won the World Cup, as pp said, and he’ll see through Gemma’s lie. Really hope he does that. I do like Gemma but the unfairness of Billy being targeted in this latest twist has got me rooting for him! I think he really needs to show more of his personality though.

It’s a shame Hashu isn’t playing as himself. I like Syed as a character but once he slips up and gets found out as a catfish they’ll all be keen to get rid and he’s actually one of the best in there.

I’m just catching up In last nights. The new girl is gorgeous. The new boy ‘Dorothy’ not so much!

When I was a girl a lot of my family kept English bulldogs like Gemma’s. They are lovely dogs with big personalities but they are smelly! I dread to think what that flat is like atm.

@Tianatiers - I also like Hashu as himself, he's very funny and if they rumble him as Syed, his departure is inevitable.

No way will Billy go over Gemma, which is a real shame, I was a huge gladiators fan in the 90s and Hunter was absolutely my favourite, but he’s seriously crap at being a catfish as he has no back story to his character. Can not see how he’s going to survive this.

So glad there's a thread for this!! think i must be watching a different show compared to some though as :

• cannot stand Hashu/Syed; genuinely one of the most obnoxious reality tv contestants i've ever come across with the way he SHOUTS everything. His catfishing is absolutely dreadful, I know the name of the game isn't to rumble the catfishes but I'm so shocked he's not been rumbled yet. Absolutely baffled that everyone online and in the game seems to love him??
• Manrika and Tally are both similar shades of irritating
• "Dot" is another shocking Catfish and I can see "her" getting found out any day now.
• Andy is seriously dull and just completely milking the bowel thing, same with Manrika and her "emotional" ADHD confession last night, whole thing is so cynical pull the other one!!
• Don't mind Vithun I think he's probably the smartest game player.
• Didn't mind "Gemma" but he went way down in my expectations last night after targeting Billy who is the only one in the whole show I genuinely really like. It's a shame because i think it will cost "Gemma" his place in the game when he had a lot more to give - he should've picked on someone else (preferably Syed!!).

Just don't feel as gripped by this series at all like I did previously! Thought the celebrity one was great but this one seems to be falling a bit flat for me as there is only one person I really properly like. Hoping some new people come in to change it up a bit.

Whoops sorry you're right. And yes spot on about the crisis competition. So earnest and cynical. That's why I like Billy because he's just keeping friendly and playing along !!
