I agree “BillyIsMyBunny”
I used to love the 24 hour live big brother feed for this reason.

Yes to pippa /joey being out for revenge.

I am getting my IKEA fix too by checking out the room decor. Like the pink kitchen a lot and wondering what it would be like irl!

TellingBone · 06/04/2021 00:13

No I was basing my suspicions of Manrika on my belief that she had formulated a plan even before going in [which I think is the clever thing to do]; plus as it gets towards the end, and together with the Andy situation, it won't do any harm to show a softer side now to enhance the public vote.

TellingBone · 06/04/2021 00:22

ETA: Have I got it right that the 'inside' vote will have been decided at the time, but viewers now vote to give £30,000 to their choice? Sorry if I've got that wrong.

Last year that’s how it worked, £70,000 went to the winner voted for by the contestants final ratings and £30,000 went to the viewers favourite which we voted on through The Circle app. I’m not sure whether there is a viewers vote this year though, I haven’t seen much information about how the final will play out and there hasn’t been an app this year. I’m assuming that the final was filmed at the end of the filming in the flats in which case I don’t think there will be a viewers vote but it is possible the winner wasn’t revealed to the players and they will get them back for a live final, including a public vote.
Interviewedundercaution · 06/04/2021 08:20

What are Femi/Pippa wanting revenge on Manrika for? Missed chunks last night.

HeronLanyon · 06/04/2021 08:35

I am still really confused - pippa and femi visited no one. This will become apparent if the actors contestants are permitted to chat at anything approaching real level.

Something has gone very wrong with this show. It all felt surface and manufactured last night save for moments of connection between syed and Andy.

I don’t think the eye popping decor is helping my brain see this as anything other than cartoonish snippets of a brash game show rather than anything more interesting.

I’ll watch to the end but really hoping it returns to the more interesting premise of series 1 and 2. Guessing it may not be possible as contestants are now knowing.

Additionally why are they instructed to shout everything we can see on the screen - that alone is enough to make me not watch another series ever.

Can we imagine Tom being blocked and the confusion as people realise that Tom and Alice are not in fact femi and pippa (which they must be assuming given no visits.

Tally responded to some tweets about whether she’d forgiven Manrika by saying the NDA stopped them from communicating or following each other until the final has aired...

But Twitter was angry over Manrika “hinting” that she’d won yesterday, which would surely be an NDA breach. She did an Instagram Story singing she was the winner, and then people linked to a load of old TikToks where she talked about doing what she had to do to win, and this Christmas being the best yet, and a post where her mum said she was proud of her and always knew she’d do it...

Although a bit of me thinks she might be trolling. And she’s made a living from this anyway, she’s now got 350k TikTok fans and has given up recruitment for influencing instead...

If the stories from the girl who says she was bullied by Manrika throughout school are true; I feel a bit sorry for her in that case, but I’ve no idea if they are. Manrika’s talent agency appears to have been dragged into it all now...

Although I’ve just seen the Radio Times, and they’re expecting the usual £70k/£30k split, so maybe we will get a vote!

jay55 · 06/04/2021 08:53

Manrika basically said she was glad it was the newbies who left and immediately started to try and rebuild with Andy. Pippa and Femi watched the interaction and were not happy about it.

TitsInAbsentia · 06/04/2021 11:00

@jay55

Manrika's feet are full of holes from all The times she shot herself in that conversation.
I'm just watching now and put up this thread to read comments as I go along....I'd just stopped cackling over Femi and Pippa saying Manrika is gone and then I saw your comment #howling
TitsInAbsentia · 06/04/2021 11:46

I don't feel it's a coincidence that the parting shot from last night's show was Manrika being all reflective/remorseful about having gone too far. Is this to steer her back in to public favour?

If the final is this Friday surely we would have started to get warmed up now if we were doing a viewer vote. I don't think it's happening.

Maves · 06/04/2021 17:52

And a quick one "Alice" lying about his Nan dying disgusting. Especially coming from a teacher.

YouTediousShit · 06/04/2021 18:42

I agree Maves seems like a particularly angry character, too. Getting snarky after the game at the others who've been in longer. Was he / she expecting to be super popular immediately without putting any real work in?

BillyIsMyBunny · 06/04/2021 18:58

Agree ‘Alice’ definitely seems intent to stir up drama, the daily drop shows there’s an anonymous game tonight and s/he’s posting a question accusing Felix of only being in a circle relationship to boost ratings/ popularity. Probably not a completely unfair or false assumption but still obviously intended to stir trouble.

That said, I did think it was pretty cliquey that the established circle players voted for each other to win on every round of the game last night, I get that they’re all friends etc but it was kind of cliquey and you’d think it would have been nice for them to vote for the new players to welcome them in. It definitely made me think it’s not only Manrika playing a game or who’s realised that it’s the vote of the established players which is likely to matter more than that of the newbies.

Baileysandcream · 06/04/2021 19:31

I know its traditional that new players are excluded from being rated, but can rate, however at this stage in the game it feels really unfair that they're in a position to vote out existing players.

"Alice" definitely does seem intent on causing trouble and stirring the pot yes, can't say I'm warming to him/her at all and hopefully he won't last very long. It's so frustrating that someone fabulous like Syed could end up being blocked later while "Alice" will probably only last a day or two.

BillyIsMyBunny · 06/04/2021 20:05

Yes it definitely feels like they should have been introduced a blocking sooner, so I guess when Vithun went would have been a better time to have a double blocking than right at the end. It seems unfair to introduce 2 new players and then only have them up for one blocking before the final, it means they basically have a 50/50 chance of making the final. I do support new players having more opportunity to make the final and introducing them in pairs has been a good tactic from that point of view this year but they should still be required to get there at least partly by their own merit.

YouTediousShit · 06/04/2021 20:29

The OG players and even those coming in later in the game (e.g Dot) must surely suspect that the two new players are Pippa and Femi. No visit, etc. And they were told there were no more contestants coming in, so they know they are in the final days. Not sure I'd be rating a new player above those I'd already made bonds with. Fake or otherwise.

ElizabethTudor · 06/04/2021 22:37

Surely after ‘Joyce’ last year and a doubke blocking, they must suspect either Alice or Tom of being Femi and Pippa reintroduced.
Plus, have none of them discussed with each other about who Femi and Pippa did or didn’t visit....

ElizabethTudor · 06/04/2021 22:43

And Alice clearly read his question from the notebook there.... another thing fed the producers. What a div.

ElizabethTudor · 06/04/2021 22:45
  • fed from the producers
PennyRoyal · 06/04/2021 22:53

Whilst I think the producers are likely to be "manipulating" what we see etc. I think Alice just read his own notes, made while thinking about what he was going to ask. They all make copious notes in notebooks by the looks of things.

ElizabethTudor · 06/04/2021 23:07

Possibly Penny
I might just be being super-suspicious!

jay55 · 06/04/2021 23:07

Ugh, this late on the newbies shouldn't have been immune.
I'm annoyed.
I'm glad it's almost over, these late nights are doing me in.

LarsErickssong · 06/04/2021 23:08

Yep I'm really struggling to stay awake tonight!

MarchXX · 06/04/2021 23:10

I think Felix should be voted to go, then Manrika can see exactly who he is Grin. Would love this to happen. Her face will be a picture.
