Is anyone watching this? It’s on at a funny time of night and hasn’t been heavily promoted, but if you loved them bickering in Good Omens you’ll probably love this. Like The Trip except they don’t go anywhere.

It’s all on iPlayer (six fifteen-minute episodes).

I had a friend who was friend with Davidson who said he was lovely. My friend was also genuinely lovely and I can’t imagine him being friends with a dick.

Only seen the first two episodes but absolutely loved it. Those two are a joy to watch together. Loved them in Good Omens too and I am a massive Pratchett fan. I did spot the change in the credits, it proper made me laugh. Grin

I have heard the exact opposite by several people (women) who have worked with him. They said he’s absolutely vile.

This is my favourite thing on TV at the moment. It is absolutely hilarious. I watched them on my own as i just happened across them one eve when DH was busy. That means I'll get to watch them again as I'm going to make him watch them GrinPlus I didn't notice the Tardis so I need to watch them again.

Very much like The Trip, which is an excellent thing.

My ed and I watched this last week, the whole lot, on iPlayer. We haven't laughed at a programme that much in I don't know how long!
I loved the guest actors, the credits reflecting things that happened, hoped DT isn't as precious as he came across, loved both the wives, and MS is just wonderful! Someone said up thread that it didn't need some of the extras, but I think it added an extra dimension to the show. I also really liked how dithery the director was, and the fact he is actually one!

Ps, I could and will watch it all again. I did with dh last weekend, but was a bit sloshed so can't remember if we actually watched it all Blush

I keep walking into rooms and bursting out into “who put the cookie in the cookie jar”. I recognise that it is intensely annoying but it keeps falling out.

If you follow Dan Walker on FB he shared a screen shot with the TARDIS in the background.

I loved this too. I adore both of them but especially Michael Sheen. He sounds (his natural accent that is) just like my Dad, and they have the same dense curly black hair too which is lovely.

Loved the final guest star. Hilarious!

I worked on a show that David Tennant starred in for a few months (I was background) & people who worked closely with him said he was lovely, very polite and easy to work with. I noticed as soon as the cameras stopped rolling he reverted to Scots.

I can’t quite wrap my head about Michael Sheen being twice the age of his partner. I can’t imagine having a partner of that age (being around the same age as MS), just such different life experiences and reference points etc. But he is very funny & im enjoying the program.

Well I have to admit that i was shocked he turned into a stereotype. Only 4 years older than his daughter it is abit creepy.

So glad I came across this thread this morning - on episode 4 and my second coffee & loving it.

The four years older than his daughter was a bit yuk to me, too. It looks opportunist on a man to use their wealth/power that way. Not sure what age Aisling Bea was, but Sarah Silverman is nearer his age (just amazingly youthful looking).

Aishling Bea is 36 so not cringy. She looks fab.

I miss Masters of Sex I dont even think they showed the last one in the UK

I didn't realise Michael S's partner was so much younger. That's a bit Hmm.
Aisling Bea is 36 now but they broke up about two years ago, so she was 34 and he was what, 49. Bit of a gap. Not as much as him and AL obviously though.
