Staged - lockdown drama with Michael Sheen and David Tennant

Is anyone watching this? It’s on at a funny time of night and hasn’t been heavily promoted, but if you loved them bickering in Good Omens you’ll probably love this. Like The Trip except they don’t go anywhere.

It’s all on iPlayer (six fifteen-minute episodes).

Loved both series. Can't remember all the guests in S1, but thought Jim Parsons was great in S2, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Cate Blanchett. I also really, really liked Tom. Gah, I loved it all!!

Michael Palin was delightful because he was the exact opposite of how he must be in real life - I won't hear otherwise.

Phoebe WB rushing off to the loo when David's phone went at the end of the scene was brilliant.

Thought in S2 Whoopi Goldberg was brilliant. DH is a huge Pegg & Frost fan so loved them. I thought the dynamic between DT and Phoebe Waller-Bridge was hilarious.

We’ve almost finished them - 3 left to watch tonight. I messaged SIL to ask if she’d watched them and she said she’d never heard of the show I told her to binge watch the lot immediately, so I’m waiting to hear what she thought.

Love what we’ve seen so far, the agents assistant (I forget his name) I’m guessing he’s a massive Doctor Who fan, hence the fawning over David and dismissive comments aimed at Michael

Loved it, so funny. Loved the bit when Michael Sheen had to remind Samuel L Jackson of the film they were in together. I had forgotten that! 'Oh yeah the one where he was the terrorist and SLJ was the torturer!'

We watched all 6 episodes back to back at the weekend, which I think was probably the best way because each is so short and everything is fresh in your mind. Thought it was brilliant. Loved the credits changing as per their conversations. Loved the guest stars and Lucy, the sister. They saved the best to last, though. This is why Dame Judi is a national treasure

Easily the best thing about lockdown.

I know a relationship where the second wife is about the same as the daughter. True love match, they were just right for each other. She's been widowed a long time and never found someone to measure up to him. It happens.

I loved this, probably one of the best programmes of the year and definitely the best made during lockdown.

I do like Michael Sheen but am disappointed with the younger girlfriend.
