Greys Anatomy- Dr Alex Karev - spoilers aplenty

So final episode of series 16(?) is being aired for those with the time and dedication to find it. But Alex Karev is gone ! Not even a double car crash brain injury a la McDreamy.

I didn't mean to read this. But I have now. So. Is this on sky? I've been waiting for what seems like years for the next half of GA to come back on. Every time I've searched sky greys doesn't even show even the old series!

Disney have pulled all of Grey's from sky in preparation for launching their new streaming service. But as yet it seems to be impossible to confirm that Grey's is on the streaming service it is all Stars Wars and Marvel on the website.

Not a sign of series 16 sadly. I heard that it was coming to the Uk but I've not seen it yet, and without Alex it just won't be the same anyway :(

Karev is the only reason I've continued watching for so long. May as well tell us how it happens?!

Haven't seen the last episode yet. He just quietly disappeared from the last few episodes. In a 'visiting his Mum' kind of way

He went back to Izzy ! She implanted the embryos and has twins - lives on a farm in Kansas.

I've watched the Alex episode and it was disappointing to say the least.

It would have been salvaged if Alex and Izzy were actually there - y'know being a family. I hate that him and Jo had just got married- after everything she'd been through. Indeed poor Jo.

I've been trudging along with greys for too long, the last few seasons have just been awful.

Hmmm I watched a lot of greys on mat leave before the baby appeared and Alex was deffo a favourite. I found Meredith and Izzy annoying tbh. Once Christina had gone I struggled and if Alex is gone too I don’t think I’ll bother!

Sounds like utter shit. I’ve been hanging on for season 16. I’ve watched all seasons from 1 four times now. Old greys was much much better. Season 15 was disappointing and the interns have gotten more boring as it has ploughed on. I hate to say it but I think it probably needs to finish because the storylines are just not as strong anymore.

What a waste, it could have been a dramatic departure like George or McDreamy but no, instead we got a clip show, a ridiculous plot about Izzy and some slow motion scenes of kids and horses. It was actually really tough watching because it was so so boring. Am not sure I’ll bother to watch next week’s episode.

16 seasons of character development for that bullshit ending?! No way would Alex Karev do that to Jo, especially not after what she's already been through. I never liked him and Izzy together and this is just worse than him dying. I understand the actor left mid season suddenly but there are so many other ways they could have written him out! Honestly so disappointed.

Last week I was hoping they didn't kill him off...now I wish they did!! such a disappointing character ending. Doesn't Izzy using his sperm without telling him just proove that is in an absolute nutter?!

Part of me wondered if they have left the door open incase Justin Chambers decides to come back??

Yeah Shonda just totally wrecked everything she did with Karev over 16 seasons in one episode. She's lost her damn mind.

Greys should have finished with season 11 really.

There have been a few stand alone brilliant episodes in later seasons but for the most part it has been crap and I'm.watching it out of loyalty now.

Arizona would never have gone back to callie.

Bailey has turned in to a fruit loop. She was awesome.

Richard is ordering around like a dinosaur being that one guy who just wont retire. Wheres that man who talked down a gun man. The guy who saved everyone's arse repeatedly but behind the scenes so no one ever knew. Wheres that Richard.

The new I yerns haven't been given enough if a storyline or character development to really give a shit about them.

Alex and izzy were dreadful together. He would never go back to her. And he would never leave jo
