Same house with all that land would be at least £3 million here too. But I'm no expert on millionaire houses.

Golly. I always liked the Victorian villas in NE, like gingerbread cottages with all that curly woodwork. But there's no way I would have lived there.

Don't you just want to punch these people with a £700K budget? She was very annoying too. DW and I concluded she must be filthy in bed for him to put up with her "zaniness". But they now live in Dronfield? hahahahahaha!!

The climber couple were much nicer. More down-to-earth. The Bradway semi was so much for such an old-fashioned, in-need-of-gutting place (£285K) as Bradway is S17, so "desirable". As Hulababy says, Norton is nice but not desperately "hot". It's a quiet suburban area.

And nowhere did they mention either a) varying quality of state schools or b) the weird Sheffield system where people start bidding at the asking price and go over - which are surely the two biggest factors driving the property market round here. (Would it be Meadowhead school in Norton? That's OK, isn't it?)
