Is this Teddy guy serious!? He is so confident... I don't get it. I find him very unattractive and the hair is AWFUL.

I think Jaxon is the most 'normal' out of the guys. Not sure why the girls don't like him, he is the best looking and not a complete moron like most of the others.

I think with Jaxon he is too full on, he seems like such a lovely guy but, to generalise, I think most of the girls want someone who comes across as a bit of a bad boy. Jax can be a bit cringey at times. And I hate it when he calls everyone darling!

I'm going to go against the grain and say I loved it when Cassie picked Grant and Tayla, I was sitting there with my popcorn waiting for all the drama. Although I do agree with a PP, Cassie was annoyed with Millie yet chose to meddle with Tayla and Grant which doesn't make much sense. I'm thinking this was something to do with Grant telling Dom that she was clingey.

I don't think Dom was ever really interested in Cassidy or not, I can understand her being confused that he hasn't shown her any affection. Why an earth did he even pick her?

And on a side note, scrunchies should definitely NOT make a comeback Tayla!

I agree Jax seems a bit full on.... with ALL of the girls! It seems as though everyone is his type.

I think Tayla is starting to see a side of Grant that makes them incompatible. I couldn't believe he didn't comfort her immediately when Cassidy chose him. It was as if he was secretly loving it. I don't think he's a genuine person.

I really don't like Tayla so I wasn't so pleased I think Grant definitely loves the drama, his speech for peace on the island was funny--he took PART of the blame. Try most of the blame!

I really liked Cassidy at the start, she seemed quite vulnerable and not too confident which I found endearing, but after she ditched Josh (who I love and would gladly take home to my mother) I saw a different side to her. I do think she'll be voted out, not necessarily because people dislike Mac (she seems like a sweet girl) but because Cassie no longer comes across as a genuine person.

I have to admit I did love it when Grant was talking to Tayla about peace on the island and Tayla was very firmly in the "I don't want peace!" camp! That's exactly what I would have said, I can hold a grudge for a long time!

Same as you. I thought Cassie seemed really nice but she is very 2- faced. She's also massively entitled when it comes to guys- she totally used Josh and was so possessive over Dom.
She loves drama more than Grant- she was so smug at all the chaos her recoupling caused... until it massively turned against her.
Grant seemed quite sincere in his apology to Tayla when he realised she might be dumped from the villa.

Who else cried when Jaxon told Teddy- Josh is funny but you have sex appeal.... WTF?
Teddy looks like a cartoon character!!! He seems very nice but going on about his own intelligence and how he's not used to competition.... wow.

Just to add to be fair to Grant and his peace speech.
As far as they were all concerned they had apologised for what had happened and everyone seemed past it. Cassidy and Tayla seemed to be getting on relatively well and there were no issues.
Cassidy's sudden recoupling out of spite was totally out of the blue. She's clearly jealous of Millie and Tayla and used the opportunity to create chaos.
Don't think Grant had done anything wrong at that point.

I love that every new person says "if I want something I get it, I don't care who gets hurt, I don't mind ruffling some feathers" and then they go for the friend zoned person who would probably gladly couple up with them! To be fair to him Teddy was the only one who came in and really did seem to ruffle feathers when he picked Erin for his first date, but I don't think he honestly thought she would consider him, he was doing it to cause waves. But then after he does it he's grovelling to Eden and sucking up to him!

It was strange that the Grant and Cassie thing had seemingly blown over, I think it was what he said to Dom that made her recouple with him. But honestly it was a waste of her time really! It was Millie she was really mad at but there was nothing she could do to Millie that would cause drama. She's played it all wrong!

I do like Millie actually, but Eden and Erin are my favourites.

I think Cass is going to go and I won’t be sorry to see the back of her I think she’s become really unlikable.

Yeah, I can imagine she was a favourite after thr Grant/ Tayla thing but she's played it wrong since dumping Josh and lost her likabikity.
Talking of Josh, I'm not sure Amelia is that into him.

Anyone still watching? I’m finding it interesting drawing parallels with the UK version the girls seem much more ‘natural’ on the Aussie one, less make up, not all with big fake boobs etc.

Anyone else find the volume on the programme really low? I have to turn my tv so much up just to hear what they are saying?! I’d be worried I’m going deaf but it Doesn’t seem to happen with other shows

Erin and Eden to win, obvs. I love how high maintenance she is, I like to use her as an example to dh to remind him how lucky he is.

Still watching! I like Erin and Eden as a couple but they have had moments individually- Eden getting v aggressive with Tayla after Justin left was a big to me.
I think generally they're all more laid back and less high maintenance- way better than UK version.

I could see Josh and Amelia winning too- or even Grant and Tayla.

crapbags yes! I'm constantly adjusting the volume when I'm watching. The VO and adverts are fine but the islanders are so quiet/ muffly.

I watched it when it was on Aus Tv so I'm finished with it now but yes, yes to loving Erin, she's a basket case but makes me laugh. Eden is a bit of a dick though.

Tayla seems a lot maturer than Grant Crapp. God I hate him.

It IS quite interesting what has happened since. Quite shocked to be honest but probably for the best.

Also - I'm trying hard to like Eden and Erin but Eden is a complete shit stirrer and Erin is totally off her head. She has been funny at times but the way she acts about other girls and Eden is completely obnoxious when there was nothing going on.

@counter27 no I couldn’t understand the Jaxon thing either?! @peachpebbles glad I’m not the only one to notice it...I miss a lot of the conversations because of it think that’s why I couldn’t fathom the Jaxon thing!

That whole Eden asking Erin to be his GF as sweet as it was it was v OTT it’s like they got married! Even Josh making a speech

The Jaxon thing was that he had bad mouthed Shelby the day before re coupling to the guys but hadn't said anything to Shelby. Then gushed about her during the re coupling so the guys were saying he's fake What do you mean I'm overinvested

One thing I still don't understand is that Eden and the others seemed to be pissed off because Jaxon 'pretended not to know that Teddy was going to pick Millie'... what what what? I don't know if he was pretending but even if he was, why the F did they care THAT much? I found last night's episode very confusing!

Side note - Unless it is just editing, Grant is so thick! There was an episode last week where Tayla was talking about her feelings and you could see he genuinely did not understand her at all.
