Oh my goodness all the time! It’s probably quicker to list what doesn’t make me cry!

TwitterQueen1 · 27/04/2018 18:58

Well that's a bit of silly question isn't it? Of course. millions of times.

Figgygal · 27/04/2018 18:59

All the time

this week at this is us and the Stephen Lawrence documentary

Iletthedogsout · 27/04/2018 19:00

Not that I can recall, no.

Mamabear1475 · 27/04/2018 19:01

When nana died on the royal family
And when Alfie moons nan died on extenders
Oh and when Kylie died on coronation street. David has always been great at acting emotional scenes

Mamabear1475 · 27/04/2018 19:02

*eastenders Hmm

thecatneuterer · 27/04/2018 19:06

Probably a little tear, but nothing more.

One the other hand I've had an uncontrollable throwing myself on the bed and sobbing, for a long time, as a result of listening to the radio (it was a true story though ... and it involved a cow ...).

thecatneuterer · 27/04/2018 19:09

Oh lordie. That just prompted me to have a google to see if it was anywhere on the internet, and here is a transcript. I couldn't bear to read it again, but if anyone wants to upset themselves it's here www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hometruths/cattlemanstale.shtml

GooodMythicalMorning · 27/04/2018 19:12

Yes lots

averylongtimeasSpartacus · 27/04/2018 19:17

DH and I both snivelled over Goodnight Mr Tom.

luckiestgirl · 27/04/2018 19:17

I sob. All the time. Especially One Born Every Minute.

SarahSiddons · 27/04/2018 19:19

Oh loads. DIY SOS often sets me off. Any kind of charity appeal (eg recent GBBO Stand Up to Cancer series)

MozzchopsThirty · 27/04/2018 19:20

I sobbed when mark greene died in ER - proper sobbing like it was a family member

Also cried through the last 15 mins of six feet under finale

Cried a lot through the amazing BBC hillsborough documentary. I bought Phil scratons book but just not ready to read it yet

I don't cry much but those 3 stand out

MongerTruffle · 27/04/2018 19:20

I've cried in pretty much every other episode of Suits.

CanIGoToBedNow · 27/04/2018 19:22

Last night watching Ambulance on BBC1

SingingSands · 27/04/2018 19:28

Loads. Mostly the news. Dunblane. 911. London bombings. Syria. Humans make me sad.

ShowOfHands · 27/04/2018 19:31

I don't watch much television but did sob over Dr Who back when DT was in the role.

LadyMarmyLard · 27/04/2018 20:41

Figgy I came on to say This is us. What a brilliant series, just finished watching it. So heartwarming. (And I'm in love with Jack..)

I've cried several times watching Game of Thrones.

I cried too when Max died in Hollyoaks. It was so unfair after everything he had been through, he was finally going to be happy with Steph! Even thinking about it now is making me a bit teary.

NightRaven52 · 27/04/2018 20:51

I also cried when Steph died too

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 27/04/2018 20:54

Regularly during Call the Midwife

NerrSnerr · 27/04/2018 20:56

Another one with Nanna dying, every time I watch I think I won’t cry this time but I do. The last episode of Friend when they all leave the apartment. When Mark Greene died, that was an awful one.

The Ariana Grande charity concert absolutely broke me. I recorded it and watched it the next day with my baby who must have been about 6 weeks old. My poor husband came home at the end and thought I’d had some awful news.

BonnieF · 27/04/2018 20:58

Only once.

England 20 Australia 17 in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final. Jonny Wilkinson winning the cup for a England with a drop-kick on his ‘wrong’ foot in the final seconds of extra time.

I’m a Leicester member, and at the time I knew several of the Tigers lads who played in the final.

Smeddum · 27/04/2018 20:59

Does anyone remember the penguin documentary that was on about 5 years ago? I’d just had DD (9 weeks old) and didn’t know I was pregnant with DS2 and I watched it while feeding her.

Long story short, a baby penguin got separated from its flock (?) and was just wandering around sad and scared making the saddest little noise.

Then it cut to the flock and the mother was making the same noise!

DP came flying in to the room because he thought something awful had happened, because I was in such a state!
Hormonal me was sobbing, snot, tears flooding down my face, the works.

(I don’t cry very often so it tends to shock people who know me well)
