Well I was personally far closer (in agreement) to the pro-bacteria family than you lot were LOL
I eat seak tartare or carpaccio... BOTH raw meat!
And yes we do live in an over-sanatized world !

But this programme is too hard on the kids.... and I do resent the fact that everything is so black and white !

zippitippitoes · 25/03/2007 21:02

it wasn't so much what they did or ate as how they did it

yep bleach the floor or lick it

seems like there could be a compromise there!

I don't bleach everything and agree that when you keep things too clean then you start breeding germs that are more resistant and things like mrsa but there's a world of difference between disagreeing with bleach and never cleaning.

Simply, never cleaning is dirty and isn't good for you. I wonder what long term damage will be done to their bodies from everything they expose it to.

Jodie only 50 years ago most cleaning products were vinegar and lemon...

steinermum · 25/03/2007 21:44

Well, there's the answer to bolshie children!
1.Live on a farm miles from anywhere
2.Never let them come into contact with regular humans

Would rather have my picky eaters any day though than to have to face four month old raw meat!!

Robert even looked quite dishy in the dungarees.

zippitippitoes · 25/03/2007 21:46

50 years ago there was ajax, gumption, domestos, flash, jeyes fluid etc etc

parma ham is raw and 2 months old (at least) lots of meat is hung for weeks. but I'd struggle with raw chicken

MrsSpoon · 25/03/2007 21:59

I wish I had known this was on, it sounds fab! Don't suppose anyone knows if it will be repeated?

hatwoman · 25/03/2007 22:01

btw googling "hanging meat" gives some rather interesting results...
