Anyone watching along? Starts tonight, 9pm, C4. Runs for five nights. I loved Broadchurch, and have been on a Jury, and love anything like this.

Hope its good!

are the legal teams actors? i just dont know

eddiemairswife · 23/05/2017 19:49

The legal teams are real, the witnesses are actors and the jury is comprised of ordinary people.

Ni58 · 23/05/2017 19:55

On the final night, do you think they'll do a flashback after the verdict? I hope they don't because that would spoil how realistic it is but I also really want to know whether the jury get it right or not!

FeckinTerrified · 23/05/2017 20:00

OK, so this is as I thought - I just thought about Cherry talking about being secually abused - not sure if that was scripted or not? because if not, that was remarkably brave, i thought.

FeckinTerrified · 23/05/2017 20:05

basically i can't tell....where the acting stops....this is so fascinating

MrsSeverusSnape · 23/05/2017 20:11

The police officers aren't actors. Channel 4 tweeted this on Monday night.

Hmmm I still think he did it, he strikes me as a cold fish.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 21:25

Plus I really hate the ex serviceman juror. Arrogant pig.

Destinysdaughter · 23/05/2017 21:33

I know this isn't real but was wondering who is looking after the children now?

BurnTheBlackSuit · 23/05/2017 21:33

What's with all the food the jurors seem to being given? Not even tea and coffee for jurors at my local court :(

I hate how the older lady's views and life experiences are dismissed by some of the men.

Still no idea who did it yet!

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 21:44

Sister said she has the children.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 21:45

Destiny that's why I hate that other juror. He was so dismissive when she was talking about domestic abuse. I think he did it! Wink

BurnTheBlackSuit · 23/05/2017 21:46

I want to know about the bus! Did it turn up??
There are a lot of words and feelings in this case but no actual evidence.
She could literally have been killed by anyone at the moment!

Apologies for the double posts. I'm using the app...

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 21:52

Interesting that his first thoughts on seeing her was 'how am I going to tell my children?' As if he knew she was dead.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 22:04

And what's the significance of Scotland? Looking forward to tomorrow's instalment.

Ni58 · 23/05/2017 22:26

I want to know about the bus, too!

onalongsabbatical · 23/05/2017 22:34

Scotland? I must've fallen asleep!
Can't remember nowt about Scotland. Confused

JoWithABow · 23/05/2017 22:40

Agh, the intuition woman is annoying I agree! I like seeing the barristers and especially the defence one saying how he gets his head around defending someone who could well be guilty, I've always wondered about how that must feel

MyGastIsFlabbered · 23/05/2017 22:42

Right at the end, in the preview of tomorrow's episode, the prosecution barrister said to the defendant 'you weren't included in the Scotland plans' or words to that effect

tobee · 23/05/2017 23:07

Some of the jurors seem to get way more airtime than others (Cherry, I'm talking about you!) but there was a bit more of a spread later in tonight's episode. Some of the jurors I can't even remember what they look like! They also seemed divided on gender lines.

It's also weird see the defendant moving freely around the place. You're so used to seeing the prisoner being taken down to the cells etc in TV dramas.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 23/05/2017 23:27

I think the retired health visitor jury is great, but the ex servicemans judgement is very clouded. The amount of victim blaming by him and the defence team last night made me angry even though it's not real.
