Ah thanks. Glad martin caught him!

EnidButton · 24/10/2016 22:37

If he takes after his brother he's going to need more than those to prevent anything.

EnidButton · 24/10/2016 22:37

Ew. Sorry. Blush

EwanWhosearmy · 24/10/2016 22:45

Lee has been in the army, where you famously learn to look after yourself and your uniform, yet Whit has to re-iron his shirt.

EnidButton · 24/10/2016 22:46

Whitney loves playing the housewife though.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 24/10/2016 23:12

LOL LOL LOL at Sharon sending Denny to King Edwards school - are they having a laugh?!!!

"I want my son to grow into a giant potato head, just like his dad"

avamiah · 24/10/2016 23:18

sinisterbum,
Phil isn't Denny's real dad,you do know that don't you?
His dad is Dennis her Half brother but she was adopted by Den and Angie so they weren't related.
And if I remember Phil Killed Dennis.
Haha

SinisterBumFacedCat · 24/10/2016 23:29

Yep, missed out the step part.

I was going to correct myself, but I didn't think anyone would be that bothered Hmm

avamiah · 24/10/2016 23:40

Sinister,
Haha .
I used to watch all the soaps, now it's just EE,but to be honest it's getting silly .I know it's just a soap and fiction but the storylines are getting ridiculous.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 25/10/2016 00:37

I'm just getting a bit disinterested, it's been months since someone's secret baby/brother/dead for 10+ years parent has shown up unannounced. Wink

avamiah · 25/10/2016 00:46

sinister,
Well don't forget Max is due to make a appearance, no doubt on Christmas Day.
Who knows what that storyline will be.?

Akire · 25/10/2016 01:30

I was laughing at the ironing too, that's one thing he can definelty do. I'm but disappointed wanted least shot of him working in some fancy offices postroom! Ha and the sandwiches too, was he supposed to take in suit pocket or didn't he have brief case?

dingdongdigeridoo · 25/10/2016 08:43

With army ironing skills he could at least get a job in the laundrette. The character is annoying me now. What a fuck up. And why was he wearing some old man/detective coat?

Good plan putting your daughter's boyfriend off from buying condoms. They definitely won't do it now!

The80sweregreat · 25/10/2016 08:43

I bet that lee's job turns out to be a figment of his imagination- although how long someone can pretend to work without people asking where his wages are is anyone's guess. Especially as Whitney has her eye on a new home already.
yes, considering he was in the army for a number of years, he hasn't much in the way of basic skills.
Steven is getting worse, he made no sense at all going on about Peter - lauren lived with him in NZ , surely she would know about the drinking and the partying? Why would this make Steven get into debt ? I didn't understand and I just think he said all this to throw Jane off the scent of course. especially when Lauren said that Ian might call the police! All very odd, they might have bumped him off over there! He is so dodgy. No wonder Jane is a bit scared of him, I would be. Claudette is getting on my nerves running Pam's stall into the ground as well.

NigellasGuest · 25/10/2016 09:14

Hahah yes I know Denny doesn't have direct potato lineage but even so, king Edwards school?! His step dad is pure potato blood ;)

SoupDragon · 25/10/2016 10:10

I don't think Lee's job is imaginary - he doesn't look guilty or shifty enough for that. There's something dodgy though.

The80sweregreat · 25/10/2016 10:28

soup, its not going to be plain sailing is it? I am still shocked that nobody has said ' what job your doing?' its a basic enough question. lol. the lads in the pub didn't even ask either..
still, theres always the fish stall again if this goes wrong! or the market in general, lots of jobs there it seems..

Yoksha · 25/10/2016 10:38

He seemed quite confident extracting his card to buy Whit the earings. At least that's how it came across to me.

I have a churning in the nether regions that Steven has bumped Peter off too! I know several weeks ago someone flagged it, & I thought, mmmph? But that convo with Jane just seemed so disjointed. People don't actually rationalise like this in real life. Do they?

Only in EE could one dad have 2 siblings killed by 2 x 1/2 siblings. Chilling! Not beyond the realms in soapland.

southeastdweller · 25/10/2016 10:52

I think he's doing a 'menial' job in the City, like working in the staff canteen or in the postroom.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 25/10/2016 10:54

He has said what it is though, sales executive. Which would be enough to satisfy people.

SoupDragon · 25/10/2016 11:00

My thought when he took out his card was "that's the slippery slope to a credit card debt story"

Perhaps he will lose his job and try to cover it up with the card.

SoupDragon · 25/10/2016 11:00

"Sales executive" could be cashier in Tescos.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 25/10/2016 11:11

Oh yes Soup I still think it's dodgy just pointing out that people have asked him what the job is and he's answered.

The80sweregreat · 25/10/2016 11:19

oh sorry, I must have missed that bit, I did think it odd that nobody asked him! so, even if its a proper job, spending money as he is now wont be good of course, not even been paid yet.

The80sweregreat · 25/10/2016 11:27

It goes to show how much I tend to zone out when characters are on that I don't like that much.. poor Whitters though, had a shit life. She should look for another part time job as well though, she doesn't seem to do that much in the pub. I am sure the launderette could do with more staff! They never did replace Heather.
