On a positive note, I did love the bit when Stacey and Mark were alone in the new house. I could really feel the space and quiet surrounding them after the hell of the flat.

I find the whole Kush and Martin relationship strange. In real life they would not be matey as they are surely. And how comes both Kush and Carmel have seemingly stopped fussing about being part of Arthur's life? Why even is Kush banished from Arthur's life? It doesn't make sense.

I dunno what is going on they do a story run with it and then never know what to do with it longterm.

I thought Kush could see the baby? Mind you, once they are born we rarely see them anyway..although ive heard him crying now and again. Amazes me that there seem to be more children and babies than grown ups yet you dont see that much of them! Or they all go up the Vic or to work and seem to leave them home alone.
I would have thought Louise's mum would have shown up to see how she was getting on with her alcoholic dad n stepmum!

Yes Kush did, but i never understood it. He went from desparate to see him to seemingly caring no less about him, Carmel even more so.

They can't have had that much to move Becks moved in with few bags ditto Kyle and Blinda. The house was furnished so apart from cot just clothes and dishes?

Exciting episode - saw baby Arthur (cute) Cokers got their cash back (yay) Jane finally left the house (mixed feelings about the way they did that) and loved Linda looming behind the freezer door at Babe, ok not THAT exciting but relatively .....

Wish they addressed accesable issues like why Jane was left in market instead of mini mart because of the step! Not sure how she supposed to got up step to pub. Though loved it if she wet herself because she needed to go but no disabled loo in pub (not that we ever seen) and to late so wet self. Much more realistic of problems I face!

Least they not making her have full recovery in 3 weeks like usual.

I felt sorry for Jane tonight. She was just beginning to realise that there is a life outside for her then that happens. And Ian is being a prized prick at the moment. She just wants a cuddle ffs.

I enjoyed the sofa scene as well. Nice to see a group of characters connection get and having a laugh together. If they're going to go with more character driven plots then I'm all for it - will make a nice change from constant sodding high drama! We don't really know the people anymore so hardly likely to care about this gs that happen to them. Ive had enough of all the affairs and blackmail and gangster crap to be honest, i just dont care ablut most of the characters so it's got really boring.

I like the switch in pace and the focus on characters instead of plot so things will feel more natural rather than forced, but the doing away with duff duff endings is too weird. There was a suitable moment again tonight when Honey said the murderers Mum had replied and wanted to meet. Why not end the episode then? Still could've had the Jane and Ian scenes before that. I'm not getting what they're trying to do.

Just with the very end scene I mean. The duff duff bit. If that makes any sense.

I can't have been paying full attention last night, so could someone spell out to me the circs re Babe and the money, please? (As far as I can tell, Linda opened a statement showing balance of £17k, then she confronted Babe with the fact that the account is in Ollie's name. I can't see Babe being that good hearted, but if it's not the case what is she playing at??)

I think it is her twisted sense of Faaahmily she is obsessed with them and ollies accident triggered some sort of oh i know i will save for ollie while blackmailing somebody, cos that is normal eh.

I like the character driven episodes too. But dare I say it, it is a little like Corrie was years ago when I used watch it. Belinda's beauty salon is sort of like Audrey's was but a nice change of scene from the cafe where they can just half answer a question before running out.

I guess at some stage Kyle will move out of Martin and Stacey's house and there is a spare room available for all strays 😀 Max has to come back - I wonder if they will put him up.

Carmel will have to get a room mate but who.......? I don't understand why her 14/15 year old gets to choose to live with his brother instead of his mum either. Would Kush even want the responsibility of his little brother? I guess it is leavi g the new house open for someone new to appear?
