I usually visit DS and Metro Soaps for my EE spoilers.

We have the following to look forward to:

  • 'whodunnit' when Babe finally gets what she deserves
  • Possible romances between Denise & Kush, Claudette & Patrick, Steven and Johnny
  • a 'difficult' storyline for Kim??
  • Kathy & Buster get found out?
  • Dean's trial
  • whatever it is that Ben & Jay are planning

I also suspect that before the new producer comes along that more chatacters will be leaving

It hasn't been said who's going to fall in the Thames but the actor who plays Keanu is leaving and he's returning for this story so I think he'll be the one who dies.

Who will die? The internet is not letting on but I know it's not Whitney as she is in custody next week. I doubt it's mick and hope it's not Callum!
Does anyone know on spoilers? I know Bex is going out of it soon.

There's no confirmation anywhere online about who dies. I can't imagine it'll be Mick or Linda as there's still much the writers can do with their divorce, alcoholism and custody stories this year.

So what does everyone think about Gray killing Chantelle? It’s right that they announced it (as the did with the Shaki stabbing story) as it could be horribly triggering. It’s a shame that we won’t get to see Chantelle on her own. But it’s an ending that is sadly true to life.

I know it’s all over Twitter but I couldn’t risk posting on the No Spoilers thread.

Yeh just read it. Bit shocked as thought people would find out what Grays like before he killed her.
But I didn't want Gray being killed suddenly either.
Hopefully it doesnt drag for months. No doubt he covers it up.

Yes, he has presented himself as perfect to everyone else. I think Mitch might suspect him. Also Ben and Dotty know about the tracker fitted to the car.

I suppose they are showing a realistic ending to a domestic abuse storyline. In soaps, it seems the woman always kills her abuser or he gets found out and sent to jail and disgraced. Hopefully it'll be handled sensitively and raise awareness.

I don't think this has been done before in a soap, has it? When the DV victim dies. Just read that in 2018 173 people were killed in domestic violence-related homicides, an increase of 32 deaths on 2017.

I am really shocked EE Facebook released this huge statement ( spoiler ) about chantelle I really hoped she would get away from him just leave I know this happens and I get it but poor Chantelle 😢

Hollyoaks has definitely had a couple of women murdered by their partners. But usually as part of some ridiculous ongoing serial killer storyline.

I didn’t expect that, I had obviously hoped she would leave him. Quite shocked, but hopefully it might help someone to leave in real life before it’s too late.
