I think her history of baby stealing would've been enough for me to cut her off for good. No idea why they let her stay. She's a very two dimensional character as well.

woodhill · 31/07/2016 20:51

Ditto Lollo, Babe, F off u interfering old bag, how dare you eavesdrop on a private conversation.

SheHasAWildHeart · 31/07/2016 21:03

Mick and Shirley forgave her very quickly over the baby selling business.
Abi forgave her very quickly over the whole fake baby miscarriage stuff.

HarryPottersMagicWand · 31/07/2016 21:03

I stopped watching for a few years after they killed Danielle. I thought that was so awful.

dingdongdigeridoo · 31/07/2016 22:07

I seem to remember people writing lots of angry letters to the BBC about the Danielle thing. So much so that the producers were rumoured to be looking at ways to bring her back.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 31/07/2016 23:26

Actually I did think it was bloody ridiculous of Babe to refuse to serve Jay because it was a family pub.

"This is a family pub, I used to be a baby farmer, my nephew has been done for curb crawling and my great nephew has infected his pregnant wife with clamydia after I encouraged a member of staff to seduce him, to get pregnant, to trap her gay boyfriend in a loveless relationship."

LineyReborn · 31/07/2016 23:33

"And then there was that business with my nephew's wife's mum's toyboy in the kitchen next to the 'addock"

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 07:41

They have murderers and rapists drinking in the pub so their current attitude towards Jay is a joke.

Kat and Alfie's spin off show will be on in 2017.www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/eastenders/entries/9992c80b-a7fe-4c42-8f15-79abf181163b

"Check out the official first-look image for Redwater, the brand new BBC One drama that sees EastEnders’ favourites, Kat and Alfie (Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie) head to Ireland in search of Kat’s long lost son!

Jessie and Shane will be joined by an ensemble cast of some of Ireland’s best talent including Fionnula Flanagan (Lost, The Invention Of Lying, The Others), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black, Dexter, The Commitments), Ian McElhinney (Game Of Thrones, The Fall), Angeline Ball (Shameless, The Commitments) Peter Campion (Brooklyn) and Stanley Townsend (The Hollow Crown, The Tunnel).

The series will be directed by multi-award winning Danish director Jesper Nielsen (Borgen, Through A Glass Darkly) and written by EastEnders alumni including Life On Mars creator Matthew Graham; Julie Dixon (Casualty, The Bill); Lauren Klee (Tina and Bobby, EastEnders, Holby City) and Matthew Barry (Casualty, Banana, Death In Paradise). The series is produced by Vicky Wharton and its Executive Producer is former EastEnders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins.

Redwater is a tiny, picturesque Irish harbour village, a quiet rural idyll by the sea where the Kelly and Dolan families have lived for generations. When Kat and Alfie Moon arrive in search of Kat’s long-lost son, Kat’s quest for the truth uncovers secrets that the village of Redwater would rather were left buried at sea.

Filming in Ireland has now wrapped on the six-part drama, set to hit BBC One in 2017."

Jasonandyawegunorts · 01/08/2016 09:34

Sounds liek they are throwing a lot fo money at such a crappy spin off.

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 09:43

I think the clues in the first "Eastenders favourites" - I don't know how true it is coz I stop watching EE whenever they're both on. I find Kat's abuse storyline really difficult viewing and their on/off relationship is really sad to watch.

MrsJayy · 01/08/2016 09:46

It sounds crap Kat and Alfie are not made for serious drama even with Kats new hair

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 09:48

Her hair looks nice but I didn't know if that's enough to convince me to watch it.

AndYourBirdCanSing · 01/08/2016 09:51

Kat's hair looks a lot better. Had Alfie aged 10 years overnight?!

I suspect I will tune and moan about it on here Grin

MrsJayy · 01/08/2016 09:52

The hair does look luxurious Grin i loved how they mentioned what the other actors had been in just to show how serious a drama its going to be,

dingdongdigeridoo · 01/08/2016 10:01

Haven't they been filming that bloody spin off for a year now? Why even wait for 2017? Just bung it on the BBC3 websitr with all the other crap.

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 10:48

I think Kat's new hair and Alfie's grey looks are to convince us that it's going to be serious. I wonder if this will start a trend for EE spin offs.

On an aside, if Sharon has discovered that Michelle's son is Grants son that's still no reason for her to go running off to Florida! Especially when Grant doesn't seem to bothered about the family he does have.

EnidButton · 01/08/2016 11:57

Nice hair. Good list of actors there so perhaps it'll be good. Sounds a lot better than I expected.

AlasEarwax · 01/08/2016 18:41

Any casualty fans here? I recently found out that the actor who plays buster is the father of the actress who plays annoying Rita in casualty. Bit of useless info for ya there Wink

Unicorn1981 · 01/08/2016 19:29

Oh thanks for that Earwax. Quite interesting to know. I remember when he was in Brush Strokes.

ThornyBird · 01/08/2016 21:29

earwax cracking little nugget of pub quiz trivia there - thank you Grin

EnidButton · 01/08/2016 22:02

Next time Linda and Mick throw a quiz night we should sign up.

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 22:25

Why did Linda think Lee got an STI from his time in the army?

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/08/2016 22:26

Also why does Abi need to work with a woman who has already mistreated her many times? Abi has a job at the vets, she lives with her gran, she has no social life- so she can't be that desperate for money.

HarryPottersMagicWand · 01/08/2016 22:41

I'm guessing Linda may have assumed Lee got about a bit whilst he was in the army? As some of that was before he was with Whitney.

I don't know why Abi insists on working with Babe. Surely the vet's job is far better than that crappy job. And why is Abi so afraid of that evil cow? I cannot believe she let her burn her and just pretend she did it herself! Wtf.

How does Andy think he is going to get away with taking the kids there? Amy and Richard are plenty old enough to tell the truth. Plus we saw him booking the tickets. What a waste of money.
