I'm quite liking the Denise and Kush thing, they both deserve something nice after all the crap that keeps happening to them. I don't know why Chelsea doesn't want to know Denise, she's not a horrible mum. (Bit of a poor judge of character at times but isn't everyone?)

I don't like the Denise/Kush thing for the same reason though. This is clearly going to end badly.

Denise has an amazing figure. SCD likes EastEnders actors, I think she'd be fab on there.

Why would Abi go back there to work? Is she worried Babe will out her? Such a strange storyline.

I don't get it. Vicky Fowler goes to the States when she's 6 or so, and comes back a few years later with a (fake) American accent. (which then turns into a worse Cockney one). Her brother Mark is born and bred in the States but comes back with a London accent.

They did similar in Corrie-Bethany Platt goes to Milan as a young child then returns a few years later with a Mancunian accent.

They tried to cover the accent the other week when Sharon said he goes to a British/English school in the USA so he has a British accent!!

Abi is so stupid this is least third time gone back to work in pub as IF she's going change. We had about 25y of abi studying hard and song exams all for what!

So... Babe (known liar) admits to blackmailing the Cokers and at no point does Linda have any questions, any desire to "get to the bottom" of it, call a family meeting, want to put together a plan or even check that babe apologises to them.
But as soon as Babe says someone else has done something to her, Linda is concerned for her welfare and getting ready to send Sylvie away. Right now I can't wait for Linda to go on maternity leave and am getting fed up of the Babe show. New characters like Mark and undead characters like Kathy just sitting around eating jellied eels. No exploration of how Jane is coping with going from being someone so strong to now someone who is reliant on Lauren to cut up her food. So many potential storylines being wasted at the expense of Babe and her bad teeth.

Oh and Abi can get lost too. If she's so desperate for money go work in a shop, office, or even on the market.

Where is Cora these days? did she leave, and I missed it? Or is she just entertaining herself in the allotment shed?

This Babe thing is utterly ridiculous. They even said they can't believe her so why the fuck do their believe Sylvie who has dementia! Of course they can't rely on her answer. It was so obvious Babe was putting it all on and angling to get her own way. Why is Linda so bloody invested in someone that she doesn't seem to think that much of the rest of the time. This storyline is getting on my tits now as obviously Babe will probably blackmail Abi by saying she'll reveal whom it really was.

Agree about Jane the nod to not being well is no make up/bra/ in pjs. No doubt she have an outburst at some point then be walking around in few weeks.

Once blackmail come out is expect mik to frogmarch he around with all money and an apogise she sniffs sorry snd all forgotten! Not like babe needs money she lives rent free!

Everything is an anticlimax at the moment.
The Andy storyline that went nowhere.
The Mark is Grant's son storyline gone quiet.
The Paul is dead and Ben wants revenge storyline, nothing happening.
After all that fuss over EE signing Danny Dyer and they give the storylines for his creepy great aunt instead, while he just mopes about like an older version of Lee.

I wonder if the point they're going for is that Mick and Linda are too distracted by everything with Dean to process the things that Babe has done? I think Linda was quick to go along with blaming Sylvie as she hasn't felt comfortable around her since the incident with Ollie so was looking for a reason to put her back in care.

I am a little fascinated by Claudettes bosoms. They are so pert and wrinkle free! I am 37 and mine look much older than hers! Where does she buy her bras?

That's pretty insightful Magpie. I'm fairly convinced, however, that the writers put absolutely nothing like that level of thought into it!
