Grant's playing Sharon IMO - he's purely after the money (although I can't remember for the life of me how much and why Phil fleeced him).

Phil borrowed money to give to Kaffy for her escape from Gavin. . I wonder is Kaffy meant to be a bit simple? I don't remember her being like that before even though she made some terrible decisions.

Thanks, MrBoot - I had a complete blank about what money and why!! It's the cynic in me that makes me think Grant's playing her - if he really loved her he's had ample time to tell her, including their moment around the time of Peggy's death. But I could well be wrong ...
