Is Phil forgetting he gave Jay money for the hotel and knows Jay didn't go? It's so unrealistic that no one would actually stop and think why he finished it.

I preferred the tony and Whitney storyline. It's ridiculous when it's some Mickey Mouse shit.

It doesn't look good for victims. It would be better if Jay was grooming Louise. Maybe he was.

But I like Jay so would rather it be someone else.

I didn't know why Jay just stood there taking the abuse from Star's mother. He could have yelled back that he didn't know her age.

I'm glad Pam isn't falling for Ben's tricks. Everyone just saw him abusing his ex a couple of weeks ago, and he led Paul on for months.

This Jay storyline is so badly done. It was a joke last night.

So how is Sonia going to get a baby then? We know NC is pregnant in RL, unless she just leaves before she shows. She's hardly in it anyway, usually just busybodying around sticking her nose in and being the only medic in a 5 medic radius.

Agree police business was very strange. Surely they interview the victim get statement then arrest him to see his side and gather evidence. Seemed have arrested him on no evidence locked him up then spoke to see what's happened. I'm sure they don't do dial an arrest

He's not, we've seen the story build up. However there are pictures / texts (Some of which Ben sent as Jay) that are goign to get him in trouble.

I dunno, i'm not apposed to the storyline but i'm not sure / comfortable with the BBC doing it considering their employment / turn a blind eye history.

Agree Mrs Jay ended it the moment he found out she was under sage and made it clear whatever feelings etc it was not and could not happen. He even said to her you let me book a hotel and you never said. Then they are making a big point of the fact he didn't ask her. No he didn't but she knew old old she was and allowed him to think she was older - and he ended it when he discovered the truth.

I think they're deliberately avoiding there being an obvious person in the wrong. Linzi is clearly a vulnerable young girl and whilst Jay should've asked more about her, he didn't have any malicious intentions. I think they want to get people talking about the show.

Not been watching a lot recently but have been getting back into it this week. Don't feel comfortable about the Jay storyline. I feel it might perpetuate the view that girls as young as 14 "know what they're doing" and routinely lead older men on which whilst it does happen, it might not do real under age victims of grooming and abuse any favours in terms of coming forward and being believed.

After tonight's episode I think EE may actually have got it right with the Jay/Linzi story. They're definitely not blaming Linzi (Ben is, but he's a dick) and Jay has repeatedly admitted that he shouldn't have assumed her age and should have asked. I think it's a bloody good warning to underage girls not to send naked photos, and a warning to young men to make sure they know a girl is old enough.
