If she claims baby is due 23rd October, how many weeks pregnant does that currently make her?

Sharon's make up was ridiculous last night, do you think the make up department don't like her?

That and Sonia and Tina's eyebrows were distracting, it felt like the whole scene was just a conversation between eyebrows.

I thought the same about Martin's crash. They didn't have the budget to spend on it! I suppose it could be because a crash with a baby would be upsetting, but at xmas they almost killed Dennis and had a big dramatic accident.

I didn't get the Martin Kush punch up. Martin missed a call while he was out drinking so now Stacey doesn't get her place? Do mobile phones not exist then?

I hope the new fella can make me care again. I keep watching but I don't feel any kind of emotional attachment to any of the characters/storylines.

I thought Stacey's PPP was done so well and both actors (Martin and Stacet) were superb but then this nonsense with Kush/Martin is distracting and too much.

notquite - I think Kush was encouraging Martin to go out for a drink to forget about his problems and he suggested leaving their phones behind so there would be no distractions. Martin said no, but Kush took M's phone and left it in the flat. When they got back there was a missed called offering Stacey a place in a mother and baby unit, but since Martin hadn't answered the call to accept it the place was no longer available. Martin blamed Kush.

Ah, I see. Seems a bit of a ridiculous storyline. Why would a patient lose a place just because their boyfriend doesn't answer the phone? Weird stuff.

I have no experience of getting places in MBUs but I also found it ridiculous that Martin should have to drive to Bristol to get her a place in person rather than a phonecall or surely the unit she's in would be championing her case? If this is actually how it works then EE are doing a great job or illustrating this utterly illogical situation.

I hope the new bloke doesn't have a thing for dragging out storylines for literally years ........

Getting a bit bored with the Kush / Martin storyline now. It's gone on too long.

Fed up of whiney Tina too. Have a feeling she is going to get worse now Martin is in hospital and St Sonia will want to look after him.

Gavin's hair is really distracting me. Is it a wig? It looks really odd

Agree about strange mother and baby units presable they are all of fairly basic standard ie own room with cot and nursery staff to help when you can't do all or own. And surely even if you like place it's up to Drs to say you at stage ready enough to cope with it. So Martin driving all over country to look is odd. If you are waiting for heart surgery you just say yup we will be there don't go look first!

Also bugging me that Martin got Kathy Ian Jane Whitney Dot but relies on just Sonia. Not to mention all mates on market.

If Sonia had been well she would have had him strapped in sling or pushchair on stall same as Kat used to. Martins not been to work with him yet

Tina is the least sexy person on the planet. The stupid outfits, the 90s hair, the awful personality. Yuck.

She's quite attractive out of character. I used to like Tina but she's quite irritating at the moment, along with about 90% of the cast.

Stacey seems to be suffering badly from cold sores /sore lips - noticed it few days ago. Small one on top lip. Then went black/bloody - then tonight's bottom lip one was that obvious then at end of episode it was bloody enormous !!!

I was wondering about Stacey's lip. I thought maybe it was supposed to be an injury from when she was restrained, but then that would be a bit weird.

I think it's funny that more people have missed Bobby in the 2 days he was at boarding school, to the point of noticing he's now back than have noticed Fatboy vanished.

Discovering what's happened to Fatboy might finally give Donna a decent storyline. Hope it's her who figures it out and not someone else, she'll be heartbroken.

With regards to Stacey and her cold sores - when I had PPP I became physically run down too. My scalp was weeping and crusty and my lips cracked and bled too. I looked shit and felt shit!

I got confused at the end of Friday's did Martin say she's coming home now? Because obviously he wasn't coming on his own so really going manage with 2 kids and Stacey.

Also really annoying soaps when a single parent has a 6y old and a old no one rushes around to do the washing up and cleaning because they can't cope. Yet Martin had daughter kush Kathy Sonia all fighting over themselves to help. Men can't cope with what women are supposed to do without batting an eye lid.

First post, just caught up on Thursday and Friday's episode.

I think the cold sores might be a side effect of Stacy's medication? That was my first assumption anyway. Not sure Martin breaking Stacy out of the unit is wise, it sounds like she was thinking about killing herself - surely she's more at risk out of the unit then? Marting driving around looking for a MBU for Stacy is ridiculous, especially as in Stacy's review the staff said they were sorting it as well. Makes no sense.

Everything seems a bit drab on Eastenders at the moment, hopefully the new person coming in can liven things up a bit.

The coldsore thing could be to do with Stacey being run down. I always get them when I'moved particularly run down and I had them straight after both DCs birth as well. Very difficult when you can't kiss your newborn babies!
