I haven't watched for about 10 days. You guys and Digital Spy are keeping me up to date, so thank you. When it looks like it's going to be less ludicrous I will watch again

How could no one have noticed Claudette in her bright red dress and huge bosom walking through the square supposedly covered in mud. Who called the ambulance. I think the scriptwriters have been on some of Phil's loopy juice.

My theory is, Vincent went to bury Claudette in the basement. Once he'd dug the hole he dropped her in and then went upstairs to rest. It was at this time she jumped up and ran away. As Vincent came back downstairs he decided to close his eyes, because he didn't want to face up to the reality that he was about to bury his dead mother in the basement. He then proceeded to cover up the hole with his eyes still closed. Once he was done he opened his eyes, and that's when he went upstairs to burn her passport.

Meanwhile Claudette had quietly stumbled up the stairs and escaped out the back door. She walked as far as she could to the edge of the Square/border of the real world. No one noticed her walking, injured in a bright red dress, because of the Kerfuffle going on at Denise's/Jordan's house, which as we know (and especially when police are involved) causes residents to go into a staring, trance like state. Luckily a stranger not known to Walford discovered Claudette and called an ambulance. That's where we tuned in.

An alternative scenario could be, as a pp mentioned...Gavin. He remembered after recovering from his head injury, that he'd dropped the well preserved picture of the 'gang', that he periodically likes to pull out from his inside pocket. He wanted it back, as it's a useful tool to remind everyone that his backstory is authentic, no one would possibly believe him otherwise. Anyway, as he walked back into the basement to retrieve his picture he noticed something sinister about the flooring...it was Claudette buried alive. He unburied her, and called an ambulance. Unfortunately he had to leave again before it arrived as he's legally dead and that's an issue for him. As stated in my previous post, everyone was distracted by the drama at Denise's house, so didn't notice the ambulance. It's also possible they came around the back of the house so no one saw them.

Thank you Mrswhiplington - it's the detective in me. I feel I'm on a par with even the most senior of Walford's police officers.

BigGaggingBird you've made me laugh out loud today, more than the EastEnders lot have done for a while.

BigGaggingBird- that's brilliant! You forgot to add that whilst finding his plot device photo, Gavin made a great job of skimming the concrete floor and filling in the Claudette shaped hole. In total silence so that nobody noticed.

Gavin wanted the photo back because he knew that if anyone had more than a cursory glance at it would realise what a poor job of Photoshopping he'd done.

Also with the Claudette fiasco and the Fatboy accidental car crushing Vincent is shaping up to be the worlds most inept killer, like the Mr Bean of murder.

I forgot poor Gavin would've had to fill the hole back up, oh dear. It really is an awful picture...

I like when characters have photos of weddings and stuff that are obviously old cast photos. If you squint you could probably see an old TV times logo.

Im confused about the scenes over the past week or so, where someone has been watching Ronnie through the bushes. I know that Joel's brother came to visit Ronnie but I don't think it would make sense that it was him as he just rocked up and knocked on the door, I'm so confused
