Saw Heather's match late last night - wow, just couldn't believe it! The crowd were going insane, what an atmosphere!

She played so well, what a pity she couldn't win those crucial points but still, wow!

I do feel for Heather. I imagine it will take a while to get over that mentally. But she needs to if she is going to build on it.
US open could be great for her. She needs a lot of support around her mentally- she definitely has the game.

Watching Brown/troicki, I think Troicki will win this.

Quick message. Have amazing seats just near players entrance and luckily in shade at moment. Can see Russell fuller and annabel croft at moment. Have Japanese fed fans behind us with big poster. Not sure how to post photo but will try later. Have also seen AC wearing tennis whites. I am wearing blue maxi dress with pink flowers and pineapples. In shade at moment which is good as its v hot. It's the problem with beating a big player ( and specifically Rafa it seems). they get lots of press attention. They are touted as the next big thing. And then reality ( and their normal game) returns, they never follow it up.

So true. Look at what happened to Eugenie Bouchard the bratty Canadian. She believed all the press hype about herself and then imploded.

Hopefully Heather having (sob) lost it will give her confidence and a quiet time to plug away at working on her game.

I agree about Bouchard. She goes through coaches like nobodies business too- good indication of being 'difficult'
