I missed Nadal playing at Wimbledon the year we went to the men's QFs because of a similar match. It rained so play didn't start til after 3. Then Stepanek and Bjorkman took 5 hrs to complete their match taking every set to a tiebreak. The whole crowd was just willing somebody to lose so Nadal could get on. Then as they finished they announced that they were moving the Nadal match to the next day.

Was gutted.

Lots of great tennis today I'm hoping seppi can do well and fingers crossed for ward, think he has a chance if he holds his nerve and gets a little luck.
Unfortunately we are at all party today so won't be seeing any of it but will be checking into the thread when I can. My app went heywire yesterday during the heather match and became useless so I was updating the whole table in the restaurant using this thread , you ladies are far more reliable

Thanks for all your good wishes everyone. LOL at sensible shoes 80s. I have email from Wimbledon with lots of tips about the hot weather including keep as much skin covered as possible

I really like Ward, but think it is underestimating Pospisil to think that this is a match in the bag. He's not a bad player,- and the reigning doubles champion. But I hope ward can win.
