Well I wondered that but there was a time when there wasn't much between them. And I know Venus is older, but Serena comes across as such a diva, she must be quite a character to have in your whole life.

At least most opponents can not see her off the circuit. I would imagine Venus sees a lot of her.

I just wondered if Venus ever thinks, excuse me, I was the greatest once. She got where she is with my help. I dunno.

I can't work out if Serena is liked by her peers.

Wasn't Venus quite ill? I've always preferred her, or maybe the 'humble' thing is an act. Serena is a massive diva. And seems above criticism with the vommenators. They always want her to win.

Agree with all of the above. Why should they get free seats when the real fans miss out? Not fair at all. The cameras and commentators love it though. Never liked the Williams duo. Shame, as no doubting the talent!

Venus was really ill for a while, iirc. I think they should she might die for a little while, as they couldn't work out what was wrong with her.

Fair play to her. Takes far more to come back, get match fit & play, than it does to turn up at token tournaments & Slams and 'win'.

When you are built like a brick shithouse compared to all your opponents, I'd hazard a guess its mot that hard. Also with a nice bit of play acting.

I reckon Serena wouldn't have 20 Slams if she'd had to play 5 sets.

80s- I know what you mean- they are clearly talented, and I feel I ought to applaud all their achievements. But I can't. It all seems so fake.

Re-celebs- I will know for definite that Wimbledon is dumbing down, if Kim Kardashian turns up.

I'd go for cool & comfortable, with a sweater for if it cools down and a disposable poncho (ie bin bag !) in case of a shower.

(disposable ponchos can be squished into bags teeny tiny, and thrown away).
